Almost everything about this headset is great but just barely manages to not get there.Sound quality is mediocre. Sounds muddy/muffled, doesn't matter if you use it in USB or 3.5mm. No oomph to the bass, and treble sound tinny. Also, the max volume is too low in my opinion.Comfort is surprisingly great. Leather feels a bit cheap and the headset is *too* light in my opinion making it feel cheap, but actually putting them on my head they feel pretty great. Clamp feels just right, not too loose or too tight. They can extend quite a bit so big head dudes like me are good to go.Microphone is a mixed bag, the actual quality is very good, but it does tend to pick up sounds coming from the headset a tiny bit. I tested this with a friend on discord, and yeah it does sometimes pick up audio from your headset but it's very subtle, and can only be heard while you're talking and if it's loud. This is honestly more of a nitpick but hey it shouldn't happen at all, just saying.Build quality is pretty good actually, I know I wrote that it's too light and the leather feels cheap, but everything else feels pretty solid. Plastics are high quality plastics, and the metal used feels good.Design of the headset is definitely the reason you're getting this headset (or because of the price), it's a very clean and minimalistic looking headset which for some people is worth buying alone.Overall, I don't really recommend this headset purely because the sound quality is just not very good. The rest I can get by with, but the sound quality should be better than this, even at this price point.

Honestly I don't even know what this thing is but it was in my grandsons birthday gift list so I got it for him. He was blown away that i got it for him and was so excited to start using it for whatever it does. All I know is he is as happy as a clam with it haha

This is a review on the Switchmix, since Amazon mixes reviews. Front 3.5mm port got loose and stopped working. The little mixer would switch lights and the cam software would show the equalizer (which only shows up for headphones) showing that the headphones are connected but there was just no audio coming out of the front 3.5mm port. The plug on my headphones would also just slide out of the front 3.5mm port with zero effort. I bought what looked like an old version on another site called the MXER to see if it would work with the switchmix and it doesn't. Surprisingly the front 3.5mm was much better built on the MXER. Would have went to NZXT customer support but since it's the weekend for me and I had only a few days left in the return window on Amazon I decided to use Amazon's return service instead.

I don’t know why I didn’t know this product before!Never too late.It’s a really useful product, and saves you lots of time between plugging and unplugging your headphones, and it doesn’t take space at all.Sound quality is really good, and the controllers feel premium. The design is simple.Thank you.

Quality headset, once you buy cloth covers for the pleather cuffs and purchase an inline boom mic to crutch the failed microphone issue. I contacted NZXT at seller's request and inquired about a replacement mic, but they do not stock replacement parts and advised me to send the unit back via Amazon.Having a working mic would be nice, since there's an element of noise from the inline mic, but one suspects that the headset itself has a connection fault in the mic plug site.Again, with a little help, you can get good use of this headset, but do not expect support from NZXT. They have pushed this headset out to third party sellers because they know it's not made to their high standards.

Headphones worked great, only problem is the leather on the top head band just came off the foam head band.Had them for a little under a year before this happened, I've had great luck with NZXT products but I would avoid this one.

We purchased these for my sons birthday. He has a pair of A****ware that he finds to be too bulky. He wanted the NZXT headset to go with his computer set up. The quality is very good. Lightweight, great acoustics. Much better price purchased on Amazon then from company directly.
