Because my uterus is so retroverted, it can be difficult to correctly place my Pixie Disc. This applicator (and lube) helps get it high enough, in the approximate position, then I can wiggle it into place. It means I get it right first time instead of needing at least three or four tries, saving me time and hassle. I’m very pleased that I took a chance on it!

I’m reliably informed that when used, is seemingly more complicated than it needs to be. In a moment if need, it took far too long to figure out and use and even after the fact, was still a bit confusing.

Unfortunately this thing has a huge design flaw and doesn’t work for one simple reason, the inner tube is too short to push all the way to the end of the applicator meaning the cup gets stuck in the tip of the applicator without being pushed fully through. I’ve tried various cups with this and all have the same problem. The tube that goes inside the applicator to push the cup up should be longer by about 2cm and tapered to fix all the way to the end of the applicator then it would work! Great idea but needs revising to work! Hope you fix it as I really wanted to be able to use this! Also suggest you make a silicone (washable) carry case so it can be used when out and about.

I was struggling to reach far enough to get it in the right place, after a few attempts I finally got the hang of it, it’s life changing. Also I don’t use menstrual cup of the same brand, and it works perfectly. Life changing no more worrying.

I ordered a menstrual cup a while ago and for the life of me cannot figure out how to use it. I’m autistic and struggle with my fine motor skills so I thought this product would help me a little more.I have to say the plastic and the lube that come with it are very gentle and high quality. It is so much larger than your traditional tampon applicator so for younger people, or those getting used to having their period I wouldn’t really recommend it as it can be a little scary and messy.It felt a little painful using this at first but I think that was because I wasn’t using it right so I would say it takes a lot of practice before I felt comfortable in using this. I also feel like the width of the inside of the applicator might be too small if you’re using a large cup. And the lube is definitely needed.I do recommend this if you’re looking to use a sustainable product on your period but make sure you’re cleaning and sterilising the applicator after each use!

Takes a while to get used to, but once you do its a life saver!

I have a medium size cup and it didn't work, even when the applicator was fully pushed out, the cup got stuck each time at the end.
