Accurate and reliable
Great little scale. Have had one for many years and has always been very accurate in weighing items for shipping. Bought 10 more for use in weighing fish in a tournament. Accurate to .05 oz with my 20# tests. The removably readout makes weighing oversized items easy. The AC adapter is included but also runs on batteries.

Problems with power button and data connection
I was really disappointed in this scale because My Weigh has always made great scales for the money and we've owned several for shipping. The power button on this unit kept getting stuck. The USB data connection did not work with Ship Station. The scale also can't power via USB, so you must have two cords connected. We returned this scale and replaced it with a much more expensive unit from another manufacturer (because UPS helped us pay for that scale).

but the scale itself works just fine.
The included "software" was apparently not compatible with Windows 8.1. It would have been convenient to have a connection with Ebay, USPS and other carriers, but the scale itself works just fine.

ok, but expected better quality
Scale is made from very cheap plastic. LCD screen is hard to read at angle and not very clear does not matter what power supply i am running.

Detachable read out makes weighing large packages easy.
Fairly accurate and I like being able to weigh large boxes without having to try and peak at the read out.
