Worth the money
I purchased this cargo carrier a few months ago to avoid putting my luggage carrier directly onto the sunroof of my car. It’s not difficult to put together but definitely goes faster with two people working on it. It’s critical that you measure your car first though because I installed this with the middle expander piece and then ended up having to remove it. I used this to transport luggage for a family of four twice during the holidays and it works great. It eliminated the annoying sound of the clips from my soft-sided carrier hitting the car and also made things seem more secure overall. It does make a bit of noise but I’ve gotten used to it over the last few months. I leave it on the car daily and haven’t noticed any considerable impact to my gas mileage.

Seems ok overall. But bad quality control.
Seems sturdy enough for the job, but arrived scratched up and dented in a few places. Packaging was in perfect shape, so I have to assume it was just sent out this way and no one cared enough to do any QC. Not damaged enough to bother sending it back, but disappointing that it was even sent like this.

Not impressed
Gap in sections makes it difficult to load unload. Any scratching the paint rusts overnight.

Excellent Rack
excellent Rack, nice and full length which makes it capable of holding quite a bit of items on the car along with some fairly heavy items as well. Very durable, very heavy duty. Attach hardware holds it in place very secure. Easy to assemble, instructions are just put together images but was still easy to figure out. Arrives in a large box with everything very well protected. A satisfied purchase and highly recommended.

You get , what you pay for.
It's OK. I think it's gonna do the job, looks strong, but parts little bit hard to put together, sharp edges and easy to scratch. Quality is not the best, so don't have big expectations. I didn't use extentions (don't need it so big/long).
