Casablanca: easy to enter, but much harder to leave, especially if you're wanted by the Nazis. Such a man is Resistance leader Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid), whose only hope is Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), a cynical American who sticks his neck out for no one, especially Victor's wife Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman), the ex-lover who broke his heart. Ilsa offers herself in exchange for Laszlo's transport out of the country and bitter Rick must decide what counts more - personal happiness or countless lives hanging in the balance.

Best “B” film ever made!
What can one say? Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid, and Claude Rains all take on the Nazis in 1942, AND WIN! The Marseillaise c’est magnifique! Even if the US was allied with Napoleon when it was composed. Who cares? Death to the SS, (and in real life, too!).

Old School Atmosphere
What else can be said. If you want a review, google Siskel & Ebert. Who's who of the best character actors from the golden age of Hollywood. Then add Paul Henreid, Lauren Bacall, and Bogey at the top of their game and you have one of the best movies ever made. Tell the millennials to stop complaining that it is in black and white and just watch the movie. Appreciate the time when the film was made and what was going on in the world.Cheers. Off you go.

Timeless Classic
This is a near perfect movie in my opinion. Characters are all very interesting, awesome plot and location. Great action and adventure in black and white with no special effects! At no point in the movie did I find myself not fully engaged. Truly a must see for anyone who truly loves great movies. I think it's Humphrey Bogart's finest work.

"Here's looking at you kid."
A classic has been reborn in blu-ray. I think there are more quotes of movie lines from Casablanca that any other movie in the history of cinema. ""Here's looking you kid." "Of all the gin joints in all the world she has to walk into mine." "Louie, this could be the start of a beautiful friendship."Don't have Casablanca in blu-ray. Order one from Amazon Prime today. What are you waiting for?

Great picture, quiet sounds. Over all, worth it.
The package came in great shape and the blue ray was sealed. There is no menu to begin, but goes straight into the movie, which is fine. I bought it for the movie anyway, and finding a good quality version of Casablanca is not always the easiest venture nowadays. It is not streaming legally on any platform, so I went ahead and bought the blue ray. The picture was crystal clear. The only problem I had was that of the sound—it was terribly quiet, so I had to put my television volume to 100%. However, once at 100%, the volume was perfect. After the movie plays, the blue ray brings you to a menu that includes behind the story functions including commentary, additional footage, trailers, etc. It’s worth the money, and probably the best you’re going to get when it comes to finding a nearly 80-year-old film in a modern format.

A Classic you Must See
This movie is a must for anyone building a classic film library. The young viewer will think it moves slowly, because today’s films flash scenes at the viewer. Sit back and watch real actors at their craft. No CGI, no flashing scenes, just art, pure art.

Casablanca in Blu-ray - Fabulous
This Blu-ray version of "Casablanca" of the 1942 film is excellent. The story of European Refugees in Casablanca, Morocco, is well known. Of course, you have the original "As Time Goes By."This Blu-ray disc show facial detail and highlights that I've never seen before. I own the film on VHS and DVD, they don't come close.
