Stem Ginger in Syrup Waitrose 350g - Pack of 2

The product itself has always been my favorite stem ginger. The shipper was easy to work with when one of the bottles was broken in transit and, after a little email conversation, is sending a replacement. I will be buying this again.

I ordered these because I watch so much British Baking show. Add one to your favorite ginger cookie, ginger bread etc. Yummy. One of these really punches up a Triple Ginger cookie recipe - I just made a Quadruple Ginger batch of cookies - delicious. Also added one (finely chopped) to a Finnish cookie recipe to use up leftover citron - rave reviews.

Bought for a recipe. A bit expensive but great flavor and hard to find in the US. It did come with 2 jars

I knew that this product came from across the pond so it would take some time. However the ginger is so delicious and I will get more when this supply runs out

I have used this for years to make ginger marmalade. It just adds a tang to the marmalade I make.

Have not used this yet. It looks very tasty and beautiful. Will be worth the long wait.

I use this to make Nigel Slater’s double gingercake which is a wonderful recipe, and keep well for over a week as it is so moist with the addition of the ginger syrup ana also golden syrup. Give it a try.

There should have been a pack of two jars of ginger but there was only one. I contacted Amazon who arranged an immediate refund - excellent service!I am a little reluctant to reorder in case it happens again but there are no problems with this product which is versatile and tasty.

Just what it says on the jar , without all that fancy wrapping that’s so expensive .

Delicious taste of ginger in a syrup which I used in a rhubarb and apple crumble and I also put some in a chicken curry which I made
