Sanuk Men's Chiba Journey Lx Sneaker

I'll start off by saying that these boots are very unusual and definitely not for everyone. The sizing is very off. I typically wear a size 10 in Sanuks and a size 10.5, if half sizes are available, and with the Chiba Journey, the size 9 fits perfect. I believe that they are well worth the full price, but the Amazon half off sale makes them more than worth it. They are made of a plant-based rubber and are almost completely odorless. They are heavy but are easy to walk in. They are also extremely rugged and the fit and finish is rather perfect. I plan on wearing these on rainy days, snowy days, the beach and "rough terrain" hiking. Sanuk did a great job with these and I am proud to own a pair.

They are perfect except the time it takes to put them on my foot. The interval sock gets stuck on my heel and I have to pull it out of the shoe before I get my foot in the shoe.

I have quite a few Sanuk shoes with no issues. These rubber shoes are very comfortable...appeared to be very well constructed and waterproof until I felt a bit of moisture on the inside left shoe. I hadn't worn them much until this last month and both are cracking on the inner side where the shoe bends in front of the arch where your toes bend. I have two pair..black and tan. I've not worn the tans one but 4 times. SO after hoping to have a waterproof shoe for RVing I'm now having to see if I can get someone from the company to refund me or at least replace this pair. I purchased them Late Dec 2020. Again they appear to very well made except and only if you walk in them!!

The fit is a little bigger than expected but it’s nothing a thinker sock can’t fix. The only thing is that the top of the shoe is starting to crack at the seam. Right here my foot bends. Other than that the boot definitely lives up to the waterproofness. Very comfortable as well.

These are my 5th pair of Sanuk shoes I've bought in the past year. I can now say that SANUK IS MY FAVORITE SHOE COMPANY out of the 6 or 7 companies that I purchase from.I bought these shoes used in Good condition and they are amazingly still in rock solid condition almost with a brand new feel to them.I've got two more pair of Sanuk shoes in my Amazon cart and they'll be purchased within the week!

disappointed in this shoe. I have been trying put sanuk shoes ever since I bought the comfortable, wide toe box loafers. but every shoe I have tried have been uncomfortable. These soles are very hard and make for an awkward walk. The toe box is very narrow and the shoe is made of hard rubber so there is no stretch. The top neoprene came already stretched out. Despite the tightness in the side and front of the foot. It still manages to slip off of my foot. Waiting for sanuk to step it up and bring back the wide toe box, pliable footbed.

As i break them in, I'm enjoying the cushion of the rubber soul more and more.

I wear this boot at my office so it is comfortable for casual or work loads. As with all of sanuk shoes I love the wide toebox and zero drop design.

Overall I really like this shoe. At first it felt a little tight but over time that all went away. Feels great to just slip on and go. Nice and waterproof but this does mean that there isn't any breathability so it does get a little warm. Grip is great, experience was great when walking on rocks along the beach. I did a hike up Snowdon in them and the experience was good but not much ankle support but they're not really designed for that so I was taking a chance - but I did do it.The rubber has cracked a bit where the shoe bends which other people have shown in their reviews but it hasn't broken through all the way so shoe still functions as normal.Overall I really like the design and I'll be on the look out for a design refresh or future offerings like this from Sanuk.

Bought sanuks for my father-in-law 6 years ago, they have been all he wears since. Loves them all
