Does not work the best with cases
It feels great my pen slides as smooth as butter but all that is thrown out the window the moment you add a case, it keeps bending out of shape

Highly recommend for drawing
True paper like easy to remove and assemble, no need to worry about bubbles and easy to clean dust tried other types but this one is the best

This is what I was looking for
I use my surface go 3 for media consumption most of the time but since it can also be used for note-taking and drawing, I wanted something that would let me use the tablet more comfortably when doing so.Paper-like covers tend to be the soft screen protectors that are tricky to install and it's almost impossible to avoid getting dust and bubbles under it. For me, this just wasn't acceptable. The BELLEMOND - Removable Magnetic Smooth Kent Paper Screen Protector is a different take on the paper-like cover. It is made of a thicker material so that already makes it better than the other screen cover that I used. It is also edged with two strips of fairly strong magnets to keep it in place. In practice, the cover is very easy to install and use. When installed, the cover is matte and reduces the reflections on the screen. The texture really does feel like paper and gives the stylus a lot more grip. You will inevitably lose some clarity with this type cover but I found that this cover does not detract from the quality of the screen too much. What you gain in the writing experience is well worth it... and when you don't need it, just take it off!The only thing I worry about with this cover is accidentally folding it and putting a permanent crease in it. To help with this, the cover comes with a plastic folder which should help. I keep it in that folder inside my padded tablet case.I really like this product. It's unique and I've never seen it for any other tablet.

A Pleasant Difference
Note: I almost returned this item without opening it because the instructions and QR code video link on the back of the box are for a traditional stick-on screen protector, not a "removable magnetic Kent paper" protector. However, I noticed that the description above the barcode matched my order, and I opened it to find the correct item.I bought my first tablet with an active stylus around 2012, and have always owned at least one such device ever since. With all that time invested in the technology, I am used to the feel of writing/drawing with a stylus across a smooth screen, but that doesn't mean I like it, and I was happy to try a "paper feel" screen protector for the first time.Adding a texture in front of a screen will always affect the clarity of the image to some degree, so having a *removable* protector was important to me, and this magnetic Kent paper screen protector from Bellemond seemed to have everything I was looking for.The protector flexes like stiff plastic film; it is not rigid like tempered glass. Installation is easy. Ensure your screen is clean and dry, align the magnet at the bottom edge, and lay the protector down slowly over the rest of the screen until the top magnets make contact (the magnets should be facing away from the device; see pictures). Once attached, the protector does not slide at all.If you use a case with your device, note that this protector gets very close to the edges, and may not work if your case wraps too far around the front. On my Surface Pro 7, I can confirm that the protector is compatible with the Spigen Stand Folio and the Spigen Tough Armor Pro, but not compatible with the Kagwerks Operators Case. It's too soon to comment on whether this protector truly prevents accelerated nib wear as claimed, but, even if it doesn't, the experience it provides will be worth it to me.Used with a stylus, the Bellemond protector gets very close to the feel of writing on paper (how effective this is may depend partly on your stylus/nib). Additionally, it also approximates the sound of a pencil gliding across a notebook; I find the sound to be pleasant, and I now realize that the absence of that familiar sound is one of the reasons why writing with a stylus on bare glass always feels "wrong" to me. I've never had a screen protector on my Surface, so there is nothing else under the Bellemond; using it in conjunction with my Renaisser 520C stylus does not make a negative impact on its sensitivity or responsiveness.Dragging my finger across a large glass screen for extended periods eventually leads to it sticking to the screen, which becomes mildly irritating to my fingertip -- when used without a stylus, the Bellemond protector does not feel like paper on my fingertip -- instead, it feels like textured plastic, but, despite that feel, my finger can glide more freely and without discomfort. As I mentioned, a textured protector will always affect the clarity of a screen, and although Bellemond does not say it in those words, the item listing does include, "the film can be freely attached / detached to your Surface Tablet according to the situation, such as watching videos or drawing illustrations. Simply choose when to use or remove!" This suggests that watching videos with the protector attached is not optimal, so consider that before you buy. In practice, the protector does affect image clarity, but not to a terrible degree; in the attached pictures, I tried to capture this effect with limited success (the protector is installed halfway on the left, and the right side of the screen is bare). If you're old enough to have ever used an original Invisible Shield screen protector on a phone with an HD screen, to my recollection, the Bellemond protector does not affect image quality as badly as those did. I am typing this review on my Surface with the Bellemond protector installed, and the change in image/text quality is not bothersome to me (and as an added bonus, it does a very good job at eliminating screen glare from the light fixture above my head). I can watch a video with the protector installed without it being distracting, but I would remove it if I needed to edit HD videos or photos.Should you buy this? Since you're already here, yes (but there's one more thing): Removing the protector is easy, but peeling it away from the screen creates static electricity, which makes it easy for dust/lint to find its way onto the screen-side of the protector. This means that you should plan to take your time when removing it so it remains as clean as possible for its next use. So far, I've been able to remove stray lint with the tip of my stylus to avoid getting any skin oils on that side of the protector. Although taking the protector on and off is not as fast as say, taking my sunglasses on and off and putting them in their case, I'm happy to take my time for the writing/drawing experience it affords. Your mileage may vary.
