Great product! Have purchased twice the last few years. Super thick and super soft, and very insulating and sound-proofing for flats, adding warmth! :)Just be aware that due to thickness you MIGHT potentially need to have the bottom trimmed from some doors if it's a lot thicker then what you have currently - But it's a cheap job, I only paid £15 a door.

It went down well. though it tore in a couple of places, but that was due to the fact i was laying it in a room of about 9sq meters on my own and also constantly manhandling a super kingsize ottoman bed around. So that i entirely put down to my own incompetence.It is a good thickness and helps to make the carpet feel comfortable under my feet. The most important thing was that it was a great price!

Good value and quality

Brilliant underlay and much cheaper than our local carpet shop, which wanted £60 for equivalent, but only 8 mm thick ( this is 12mm). Feels very springy under the carpet. Very easy to lay- bought 11m2 and comes in two rolls for easier handling. Well wrapped in thick plastic. Cuts easily with a new blade in the Stanley knife. Very happy. Recommended.

I never thought we’d buy underlay (and carpet) from Amazon but here we are. It’s perfect, great thickness very comfortable to walk on and great value for money. We fitted this ourself and it was easy to do. Would definitely recommend.
