Give it time to air out or wash the cover.
Just exactly what I needed for my neck. It's not too hard. I had read some of the previous comments before ordering saying the pillow had a strong odor to it. I noticed a slight odor but it wasn't over powering. I let it air out due to it being sealed in plastic and them it was fine. I did take advantage of the discount offer of buying two and plan to use the second one on trips.

Kind big
This pillow was too thick for me but I opened it and ripped of some of the foam to make the part for the neck thinner and now it’s perfect and has helped my upper back and shoulder pain. Before I adjusted the pillow my neck was hurting after sleeping

The design is perfect.
This pillow is the perfect design. I have been looking for the right cervical support pillow forever. I have more pillows than Anyone should, trying to find the right one. This is it. If I have any suggestion for making it better it would be I'd like for it to be just a little bigger.

For that price It was not as sturdy as I expected, I need something more firmer.

It's weird at first but then you realize it's really comfortable.

Can’t do it!
Unpacked with a horrible chemical odor—I actually ran the pillow thru the wash cycle with borax and the rinse cycle with fabric softener twice (along with washing the case), only to not even want to try sleeping with it. I’m worried the odor will permeate the room, my hair and my shirt all night long.

Working for my neck pain
I like this but it's smaller than it looks in the photo. I have a lot of neck pain and needed something that wasn't very thick, but that would support just my neck and allow my head to lay back normally and this is working!It's the right depth for my comfort but could be wider. I have a King bed and it not even as wide as a standard pillow so there is lot of extra space in the bed.Gave 4 start only because it could be wider. Depth and height are perfect.
