Bought for mossberg 88 cruiser, was a easy install. Was a little long but I just adjusted and now it fits my hand like a glove. I liked the product and went to the sellers website and ordered the Raptor Grip for the same gun from them. Very good service from Shockwave Technologies...

Easy to install.

You get an unbranded, plain, black strap, four screws with washers, and a set of photocopied instructions (mine were pretty faint) with a screw template. I got it to add a strap to my Maverick 88 pump. I was a little nervous when the instructions only mentioned Mossberg 500/590, but they're basically the same thing, right? The other photocopied page that is included is a screw-hole template (this is what listed Mossberg actually). You cut it out following the outline and then tape it to your pump handle (removed from the gun!). That shows you where to drill your pilot holes. After a bunch of careful measuring and figuring where the screws should come out on the inside, I actually shifted the template forward a bit. YMMV. I also did not drill the 3/8 inch deep holes like the instructions said to do, favoring shallower holes. On my Maverick, the handle material is not that thick and there are pairs of ribs running down the length of the inside. I aimed to get the screws between those but only just started by the drill. I let the screw do the rest (using a drill with a Phillips bit). I should have put the handle in a vice cuz it squirmed a bit and my screws aren't perfectly aligned. But they're screwed in, with solid purchase. Note that the first two are easy enough, but they you have to put the other pair in with the strap bent backwards and totally in your way. It was a bit of a struggle but I prevailed and I'm happy with what I came up with. As I said, YMMV.

Came in, no damage or lost parts, concise directions, all the hardware. No worried. Went on perfectly. Remember to fold the strap back under itself before you attach to forend. Thanks! Got here in 2 days after I ordered. Like I said, outstanding!

Quality product, fast shipping

It was easy to install the package comes with directions however if your fore guard is plastic like mine is you have to get Loctite to put in the wholes before you screw the screws in to hold them in place otherwise the screws will just pop out of the holes.

The media could not be loaded. This is perfect! I actually bought this for my Rock Island Armory Meriva 12g pump shotgun. The template that was provided did not fit because this is not a mossberg. No problem though! Just a little common sense and a tape measure and you can make this thing pretty much work on any pump action forend. As far as the rest of the install, it was all the same minus the template portion. Great addition to my home defense weapon. Thanks Shockwave!

Strap does its job well but i seriously could have made it myself for a lot cheaper!
