Bought this for my cat for a weekend we were going to be gone. I’m still using it! I love it. My cat gets fed at the same times everyday. It was easy to set up. Easy to program and easy to figure out the portion size. It works great.

For the most part, this feeder works as good as me! You will have to pay attention to make sure it doesn't get clogged/blocked and also when the bin needs to be refilled, but I have a cat who has to have food present at all times or when she does get fed, it doesn't stay down... side note, I don't know why I got a cat, I'm a dog person...

I've always used gravity feeders for my cats but the food kept getting stuck and it wasn't really doing what it was intended to do (I had to always shake the bowl to get it loose). So, I decided to switch to this and I'm glad I did. It works great and the cats have taken it right away. The bowl is a good size and it holds a good amount.The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the setup was a bit confusing. The directions are okay and give you an idea but it took me a bit to get it to work like it's supposed to. Also, if the screen lock is on, if you hit the feed button before it's scheduled food time it won't drop the food. The screen has to be unlocked for it to work. I don't know if I read over it on the directions or not but I didn't remember seeing anything about it in there. It's also on military time which isn't a huge deal but that also confused me a little bit at first.Overall I would recommend this for people to buy. It might take a little bit to get it set up but when you do it works well.

This is my first automatic feeder so I was initially enthralled with how it could feed my cat on a regular schedule with fixed portions. The readout was difficult to see/read due to small size but I was able to set it. And it worked -- until it didn't -- and started spitting out additional feedings exactly one hour after one that I had already programmed. The customer service email is bogus. Not a real address. I didn't see other reviews with same complaints until after I purchased and was past 30 days. Bummer -- that was wasted $. Amazon should pull this product from their list of offerings.

I bought this as an experiment for my cats and for when I go on trips and no matter how many times I reset the clock, they seemed to get fed at random times. It works perfectly fine and did feed them the correct portions but I never really knew what hour they would get fed. It happens around the same time-ish everyday so they were fine. For the price, it’s good but i think the more expensive ones will be more accurate for sure. Also, it would be nice to have an app and be able to control it as well.

Reading the other reviews I thought that it would be difficult to set-up, it's just hard getting the portions down. It makes things a lot more convenient because now if I go out I don't have to worry about getting home in time to feed my cat. I know that as long as there's food in the top that he will get his meals.If you're on the fence about what automatic feeder to get I'd recommend this one, it has the largest capacity out of the feeders I've seen and the most affordable among them.

The feeder worked great for the first 2 or 3 months. Then it started pushing back feeding times. Initially it would push feedings back 1 minute every couple of weeks now feedings are pushed back another minute every couple of days. The feeder will also drop a second meal one hour after the scheduled food drop. Today the feeder started completely emptying itself at each feeding time (it just drops portion after portion until the container is empty).We’ve only had this feeder for a year and it’s ridiculous to have this many problems in such a short amount of time. We will definitely go with a different brand for our next feeder

Easy to use and I don’t have to worry about being late after work. The cat gets a snack mid day. And dinner no matter how late I work.
