Looks great. Will work great for my purpose of getting to clean out of a drain tank for roof underground run off (drywell). Good price. Pretty solid for what they are. Like the hinge option.

I want to like it because it solves an important problem for me. I've got a sewer clean-out right next to the street and there's sidewalk there with no real curb. I need the clean-out to be below grade so I can mow and I need it to survive being run over by a car every now and then because its right there next to the street.The listing claims that this one is rated for "B125" Load and says it's suitable for "Light vehicle lanes or parking lots, but not fast lanes or heavy lanes." so it seems like it should do exactly what I need.I received it, and installed it, but I'm worried because it's exceptionally light and thin! I think the metal cover is only 2mm thick -- maybe 3mm at the most. (Seems to be less than 1/8 Inch) It's thicker at the edges and where details add thickness, but most of everything else is thin. The photos don't make it easy to see because it has details that thicken up the edges. I can't imagine how it will hold up to a car driving over it. I'm pretty sure that the lid weighs less than most large cast irons skillets do.The hinge wouldn't open for me either. Even with the bolt removed, the cover wouldn't pivot and open. It had to be lifted almost straight up to remove the lid from the base which is difficult because there's nothing to grab on to. I had to grind away some material to allow the hinge to work freely.

The casting on this item is not well maintained or designed one of the two. It will not close. Don’t waste your money on this.

A good cover but it has no locking mechanism to prevent unauthorized entry.
