Great Eagle A19 Led Bulbs 75 Watt Equivalent - UL Listed - Cool White 4000K 75 Watt Led Light Bulbs - Non Dimmable - Standard Replacement (6 Pack)

We had some hard to reach incandescent bulbs and a few fixtures which had already been swapped out with CFLs (which were once the 'darlings' of the energy-saving set) which we targeted for replacement. The former because one had finally blown out, and the other was of the same age, and the CFLs because of their fragility and health hazards of mercury cleanup when one breaks.We could not be more pleased with these bulbs! A few good points... - size/format --- fit every fixture/lamp harp etc. we used them in with no tight squeeze or other problem - the color temperature is accurate and color rendition in the room is pleasing and very close to the incandescent bulbs which were replaced - the light is not harsh on the eyes - the bulb construction seems very durable --- probably a fair bit more so than a glass incandescent bulb and, for sure, much more durable than CFLs. I would expect that if a cat or other event tips a lamp off of a table that these bulbs would survive it, and the CFLs typically would not - If they live up to the longevity rating (we are years of use from reaching that so I did not rate on that aspect) then I will not have to change those harder to reach bulbs for a long time - Priced fairly and received in two daysSo far, very happy with this purchase, and glad to have dropped off the last of the CFLs in the house for recycling and have them OUT of the home.

Value for your dollar, no issues very bright

The caveat is that I've only had a few of these bulbs operating for a few months, so can't speak for their performance over time. The color is perfect for over dining room table and study, and are, for now, bright as expected. I did knock off a star for the 60-cycle hum they emit, and based on the reviews, this hum can vary in intensity from bulb to bulb. I think a lot of that is subjective, because as we age, we attenuate the higher frequencies, so for me, (senior citizen) it's just barely audible at 4 feet distance, in very quiet house (no A/C, fans, fridge running). I suspect some of the bad reviews are where the bulbs just burn out are installed upside down (base up) in poorly ventilated enclosures, so they get too hot. Anyway, time will tell how well mine age.

I ordered these bulbs because the were made in the United States. The bulb itself is smaller but equally bright as my older 100 watt equivalent bulbs.which are too large for my 3 light ceiling fan. These are sized like the old incandescent bulbs. If you haven’t used LED’s they will reduce the cost of your electricity by at least 50% or more. I live in an area of extremely high cost electricity. In addition I use a ton of electricity in the winter because the house is 100 years old and does not have central heating . So my bills are high but LED’s are a life saver. These bulbs also have a nice tone. They are warm white so bright but not cold in tone , but not yellowish either. They are actually perfect for lighting anywhere in your house. Be aware that if you have dimmable switches you need to order bulbs which are for dimmable switches. This company makes them, but read the details because you cannot use bulbs which are not for a dimmable fixture in a dimmable fixture.. I did deal with the company and found them to be both responsive and timely and addressed my concern. I highly recommend this company and their products.

I bought these 75W led bulbs for a fixture that hangs way above in our great room. It just seemed so dark in there, even with the huge bank of windows. The fixture wasn't supposed to have anything but 60W, if they are incandescent. However, the 75w Leds work fine because they don't use as much energy as the 60W incandescent. I got "sunlight" color because I wanted the room illuminated!! So HAPPY!

These work exactly as they should and cost 25-30% less than other brands. Very happy with them in my kitchen pendants.
