I purchased this monitor as a replacement for a tv I was using as a second monitor. Then the tv quit working. So I was in need of another monitor and decided to buy a computer monitor this time. After researching several monitors, I chose the Sansui 27” monitor after reviewing the specs and knowing the quality that Sansui is known for. It has outstanding contrast ratio of 4000:1 and 1920x1080P resolution for sharp pictures which works fine for my use. The monitor is even designed for eye comfort when using and staring at the monitor for long periods of time. It connects via HDMI or USB-C for those computers that support these formats. It comes with a stand or it can be attached to a desktop monitor mount using the screw holes on the back of the monitor. But one of the most impressive things is that I received my monitor 2 days sooner than estimated. I can’t be more happy with my purchase.

Great monitor for a great price! Excellent for movies, Photoshop, whatever. I use for digital audio a lot. I was amazed at how good a budget monitor could be. Only con is the stand does not adjust up and down, making it exactly 90 degrees to the desk, making it hard to see without bending your head down. Otherwise a great buy at a great price.

This is a great monitor especially if you're considering upgrading from a 60 hz without overspending. Great refresh rate and decent stand. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have built in speakers, but there is a neat audio jack you can connect your headphones to.Keep in mind the Power Cable doesn't go all the way in, but the monitor still turns on like normalAlso it has free sync compatibility

The resolution is amazing! The monitor quality is all right. It comes with a C connection cable but that never work. Good thing I had a HDMI cable & that one worked. The control button are a little weird since its all the back and one button does it all. Price is good for a 27"

Monitor works great. Easy to hook up.

For a work screen it is perfect. I hooked it up to my laptop and it works great. The screen is not bad. The colors are great. Even operating in dark mode everything looks good. But also I paid $80. It meets all expectations

I am amending my review. Since I was happy with the monitor before it failed, as I thought it worked great for the price. It became a paperweight after 3mos time. I found the issue though was the plug. Which is why it was not ideal, but once fixed has been working great again and no issues as yet. What is even more important was the response from Sansui. They offered me to replace the monitor...without any questions, and reach out to me via email. However I did not reply immediately and got one of my old plugs from somewhere and tried it out and it is working great. So great customer support and I assume a one off issue, unless others have noted the same where it stops working. For now, I would consider them again - assuming it continues as is.== Original Review ===I'm actually kidding about fade to black. It simply stopped turning on just after 3 mos. No power whatsoever. I went through a whole routine, thinking it was an issue with the cord, or the HDMI table or the laptop, which slot I plugged into, and for the first couple of days when it would not start, some of those had some results and it would power up. Well, by end of the week, it simply no longer powered up at all. I agree with others that it is cheaply made, but a good price and worked well for the first 3 mos. The screen quality was easily adjusted and outside of its a usually lightweight paperweight now, I have no other complaints. Ideally they should offer some support after 3 mos for how to fix this, since I would at very least expect it to last for 6mos before this level of failure, and ideally a year or 3. I tend to think it takes just as much effort and quality control to make these solutions last longer than it does to plan this type of fast failure after just 3 mos.AMENDING REVIEW - The issue seems to be with the power cord - and with more fiddling I was able to get it started up again - but will definitely not purchase again
