Bigger than the headphones themselves but provide excellent protection
The Koss Portapros are, in my opinion, the best headphones out there for the price. However, they are not really very durable, and after breaking my first set after a trip to San Diego, I decided to invest in this case. Most importantly, the case is slightly less than twice the volume of the headphones themselves, which is important if you're planning on carrying them in a purse or similar. I carry mine in a backpack and have no trouble fitting the case in among my textbooks. It's more than big enough to fit just about any music player or miscellaneous tech gear along when you go traveling; I found it very useful to carry various charging cables for my phone and iPod while traveling internationally. If you were wondering, I was never asked to open it at airport security.Perhaps the best (intentional or no) feature of this case is that both hemispheres of it are more or less rigid, but capable of flexing, and are also capable of being compressed around the zipper area with no damage. This means that they can take significant weight without being crushed or cracking like a fully-rigid case would. It has weathered being between two large textbooks in my backpack and being flung around with said backpack, and looks the same as it did the day I bought it almost a year ago; no scratches, stains, cracks, dents, or anything of the sort.Even with the added price of these headphones (I got them for around $12 from here), the Koss Portapros still offer the best headphone value on the market...with this case, while it's somewhat bulky, you may never need to make use of the lifetime warranty!

Will Not Hold Koss PortaPro
I bought his on the off chance that they might hold my Koss PortaPro headphones, no luck. The egg shape is just too narrow and too shallow to hold the Koss PortaPro headphones. Of course it doesn't claim that it will so I can't hold that against this case. The case is pretty big and I use it for misc cables and etc in my bag. It is quite strong and it would take quite an effort for me to crush it in my hand so I've no problem putting fragile items in it.

Much too big for KSC75
Sure wish I had read the other reviews - I got this for the KSC75 earphones and it is so large that it is basically useless. I could fit a half dozen sets of earphones in it!

Well made, but too big
The egg shaped case is made very well but too big for earphones. Koss makes good products. It would be nice to see a more compact case for their earphones.

Tight Fit
This is the "C" case. Not really a great fit for the Porta Pros. The Koss website recommends the "D" case, which I could not find anywhere including their website. Koss customer service returned my email and said they'll no longer be producing the case and recommended this one for the PortaPros. Oh well, at least Koss returned my message.Quality seemed fine and not over priced.

I would definitely recommend it.
I would definitely recommend it. I would knock off half a start because it's a bit over sized. This item makes the hunt for you earphones convenient in your gym bag. The holder also prevents tangling up with other gear or snagging when being pulled out. I use mine the Koss KSC75 Portable Stereophone Headphones and a Ipod-nano-shuffle. These are a good fit.

Audio is good but Wiring is poor
The sound quality is good, the over the ear design allows me to hear what is around me and the ear clips sty put on my cycling trips. All that's good. However the wires that connect to the 3.5mm jack are not held in the jack well at all and after some use I have found that I get intermittent failure in the left earpiece. Annoying when it really can't be saving that much in production costs.

Decided not to buy these
I received a pair of Koss KSC75 earphones as a holiday gift (from my wish list!). I soon realized I need a case to protect the earpieces from snapping off and to keep the cord from getting tangled with all the other cords I have to carry. I must thank all of you who reviewed this case, since I learned from most of you that it's rather large. I don't want it taking up too much space in my bag since I travel a lot and try to keep the bulk to a minimum. I looked at the smaller Koss case (size "D") and a reviewer there said he had tried them for his KSC75s and that case is too small for them. Then I researched on Amazon and via Google for more than an hour, trying to find a case these would fit into but would not be unnecessarily large. So hard to tell; often no dimensions are given. I found people posting picks of soap cases (! seriously! a soap case by Mary Kay!) in which they were carrying their KSC75s, because *they* couldn't find a good case either. Then I just took a look around my house and found a Burberry sunglass case that fits these headphones perfectly. Done. So once again, thank you to all those who noted that this case is a bit too roomy for a pair of KSC75 earphones.
