Doesn't feel particularly waterproof, but I used it
Has more of a fabric feel than plastic, but maybe that's a good thing. I have no idea. I put it in my new shower and the shower works, so there's that.

Identical to name brand
This waterproofing membrane seemed to be identical in quality and workability to the similar name brand product

A very thin membrane.
I ordered this when I ran out of my thicker membrane, due to a time crunch (quicker delivery). I had trouble with tearing and holes as this was an outdoor project 30 ft up over living space. Patio lake view made of tile. My waterproofing has many layers and redundancies. This product was marginal as far as durability in my estimation. I was working in an unusual environment fighting wind and everything else mother nature could throw at me. The product works but The thicker membrane I used on 95% of the project was superior in the given environment. Indoor it would create a thinner lap offset as an upside.

Terrible! It will fail!
Terrible stuff. The packaging tape pulled every bit of the felt off when I went to unroll it. The felt has to be securely attached to the membrane so it stays together on the surface you're adhering it to. The felt peels completely off the membrane with no effort. And the membrane tears with your fingers with very little effort. I can't imagine it holding tile securely. As you can see in the photo, I installed my shower system with the name brand orange stuff. This pink membrane was bought to add another layer on the floor to bring it up flush with the edge banding so the pebble tile doesn't show the height variance. I won't use it and will be buying another roll of the good orange stuff. I do not recommend using this cheaper stuff.
