Great Little tool from makita.

A brilliant little addition to the tool cabinet. I haven't tried competitors versions of this tool body, but the ergonomics of this type of grinder is something to be experienced. although the blades don't have as much life in them as a standard 100+mm wheel, it more than makes up for it in comfort and maneuverability when making a cut.

I purchased this tool a short while ago with the thought in mind of using it for tile cutting, this tool has ended up being such a versatile tool its my go to tool for just about any cutoff situation within its depth range.The forward and reverse blade direction at the flick of a switch I originally thought was a bit of a gimmick and i probably would not use much, ( i was wrong) turned out to be very useful when cutting in tight areas such as inside kitchen cupboards ect, or when you have that annoying little edge of plasterboard to remove because the next sheet wont quite fit, you already know useing blade will make it look like your pet shark had ditten it off, this tool will remove that edge in seconds leaving a nice straight edge.What I thought was a little high in price for a bare toll at the beginning, jas turned out to be very worth it for me.

I bought this for a specific job but ended up sending it back as it wouldn't fit in the aperture . It's well made with plenty of torque but the body gets in the way and limits the amount you could cut.Nicely made but couldnt see where it would fit into my collection.
