The same item as in the Shoe Store of my youth when the Salesperson would measure your foot for size. Handy to have even if used infrequently.

As expected

Flashback when I was young and you had to get new shoes for school or dress occasions, where you were paraded around to the department store...etc. Works perfect, re-affirms the size of shoe I've worn for some time as an adult. Easy to use and read the markings on the device.

Wanted to see if my feet were the same size as they were when I was considerably younger as my shoes seemed tight and were giving me some pain. Well sure enough, they were about a half size bigger. I guess feet expand as you age. With so many shoes purchased on line these days, it's good to have this sturdy and well made device available at home to know my true size.

Shoes these days don’t conform to the old school measurements. They are shown as wide or extra wide. I find this somewhat confusing to say the least.As for the measuring device, with the one exception, I find it a useful tool you will not find in most shoe departments.
