Thick, very sturdy lids. Entire box was perfect, with no defective lids (which is rate with even the name brands these days!) All sealed great. Will purchase again.

I was nervous to buy a decorative lid. I just canned 40 jars with the lids and they all sealed perfectly. I didn't see the instructions on the i side of the box though until after my first batch. The instructions stated to add an extra 10 minutes of water bath processing time because the seal is thick and needs the time to soften and seal. My first batch I didn't process the extra time, but they still sealed. They look beautiful. I am very happy and will be buying more.

These not only look gorgeous on my Pantry shelf, but we have had no lid fails in either waterbath canning or pressure canning. The sealing compound (the rubber) on the rings is nice and thick, and let's face it, they look stunning!

Well, these are just beautiful, and they sealed...50% of the time. As others have commented, the "ping" of the vacuum is quieter than you may be used to from other lids. I'm canning at 7000' which means these are boiling for 25 minutes, and I still had sealing problems.Three stars, because I've had four failures out of eight. Customer service is excellent (you can contact them via their website), and they offered to send me new lids, but I'm too hesitant to use them without Ball back-ups. I sure wanted to love them though, because the customer service guy was as nice as could be.7.9.25. I am changing my rating to 4 stars (up from 3) because I am having much better luck with these lids if they are not pre-simmered. Old habits die hard... If things go well this canning season I may actually go up to5 stars.

I have to can a couple of extra minutes to make it seal just right. Gorgeous and durable! Love it!

These are so pretty. I boiled them 12 minutes instead of 10, for my cherry jam. All have sealed nicely. I kept them in a low simmer water until absolutely last minute to apply them to jars for a good seal. Hoping they stay that way until the holidays. I will report back- so far, so good! And I also used the small mouth lids and have had equal success, same processing.
