Chicory Cup - Organic Chicory Beverage - 100g

Wanted to mention that the seller I bought this from, Hawthorn Health Direct, was very responsive when I asked a question about shipping times before my purchase. Having read some reviews that complained about the length of time it took for ordered items to be received I thought it best to be prepared. The seller, who ships from the UK, was clear & honest about how long I should expect to wait. The information from them was proven accurate as was the time estimate received from Amazon; the chicory arriving within the predicted window of time. I recommend this seller for ordering this product.As for the chicory... I enjoy it. I love that it's organic; just what i was looking for. I drink chicory straight without mixing it with coffee or anything else that some people do & I drink it without milk or milk substitute. I also use ground roasted organic chicory that needs to be steeped but enjoy the convenience of this instant form when I have less time. Be sure to keep the chicory sealed when not using it so that moisture doesn't affect the fine powder.

Yummy! Look a long time to get to me though.

This product's description states: "Barleycup is a mild combination of roasted grains (barley and rye) and healthy chicory root." But when I received the product, the label did not say Barleycup, and looked identical to the picture used. But the product actually contains only 100% chicory root (no barley or rye or anything else). When I wrote to them, they apologized for the inaccurate product description and gave me a full refund. Because it's expensive return international shipping from US back to the UK, they let me keep the product rather than send it back (I actually thought it was a US based company but it ships from Europe). I am giving it a 4 star for excellent customer service and the product does taste good even though it's not what I expected, otherwise I would've given a 5 star.
