Amazon Brand - Coastal Blue Women's Swimwear Bikini Bottom

These fit nicely. I'm 5'8" (150lbs?) and normally wear size 8 pants. I usually order size large bikini bottoms but I followed the size guide and ordered the medium, which they say is 8-10. They're very comfortable and provide nice full coverage on the back side. They're not the most flattering for my body type, however they do fit well so they might be nice to have when I want a lower rise black bottom, like when I wear a tankini. Wish they were a bit cheaper but they seem to be made very well with quality materials.

I am 5’4” 135lbs and the size medium is perfect! It’s hard to find a swim skirt that doesn’t look matronly. I wanted something classy, cute and youthful looking. I am a new mom and I will be chasing my 18 month toddler around the pool. I didn’t want everything on display so I knew I wanted a swim skirt. The length is perfect, not too long or short. The waist band doesn’t pinch. The most important thing about this is the panty part under the skirt doesn’t dig and and cause bulges. The panty under is a *little* snug, not bad though, which I always expect because of my larger backside. It is way more comfortable than most swim briefs though. I had a swim skirt where the panty part was way too tight (I have a large rear end normally wear a size large in underwear) and it caused it to cut into my hip area. When the under panty part is too tight it can also cut into your backside and then cause bulges in the skirt. Just not a cute look on me. Anyways, basically the skirt part doesn’t cling to me anywhere and is super flattering. I am so glad this doesn’t cause love handles like some other waistbands on swimsuits do. It is a nice mid rise, NOT too low! It nicely lays over the part of my lower stomach that isn’t perfect- mom pooch area. I can’t deal with a low rise, it’s not comfy for me at all. There is enough room for larger backsides to fit. I am normally a size 6 ladies (or 8 in juniors) in jeans for reference. The swim skirt actually makes me look a little smaller than I am because it hides my larger areas, I am pear shape. This swim skirt reminds my of the venus swim skirts that are also really nice, but a little more expensive. If you love this and want more colors the venus brand swim skirt is extremely similar. I like the material of this one a TAD better though because it’s a little thicker. I like how the material makes me feel secure and snug, like everything is covered well. It is amazing quality and drys about as quickly as any swim skirt can dry. I just wash mine in the washing machine (and even put it in the dryer sometimes- oops?) and it always comes out just fine! Something to note in juniors style swim skirts I would normally be a size LARGE, not medium. This sizing, to me, is women’s sizing. This is NOT tiny juniors sizing. I find in general costal blue sizing is *slightly* lager than your high end designer (like la blanca or rebecca virtue) or juniors type swimwear. I would order a size large in a Becca Rebecca Virtue swimsuit but a size medium in Costal Blue. I do feel like the sizes listed are very accurate with the size you get. The medium is an 8-10 and I would be an 8 in swim briefs. They fit perfectly and do NOT squeeze! I do think if for some reason I put on a little weight and was a size 10 I could still fit this! I can’t stand having love handles on my swimsuits, not cute on me. I love most this swimsuit doesn’t give me horrible love handles, which I have seen from other swim bottoms.

This swim skirt is of the same quality as my Title Nine and Athleta swimwear. The fabric is a great thickness and the brief is fully lined. The waistband has a hidden infinity drawcord just like my Title Nine skirt. This skirt has the perfect A-Line shape that is wide enough to skim over my hips/upper thighs, but not so wide that there is a lot of extra fabric round the hem. The back of the skirt is cut just a bit longer than the front which is fantastic for anyone with a curvy booty. I'm 5'5" and weigh 135 and a medium is what worked best for me. In comparing the Medium and the Large, there was virtually no difference in the length of the skirt. The large was about 1.5-2 inches wider in the waist. I have tried 5 different pieces of the Coastal Blue swim line and each one is really well designed and made. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a suit that will last and is sturdy enough to actually move around and be active in.

Super frumpy on me! I am 5’4” and 135lbs and the size medium was big on me!! Even when pulling the string inside tight they still were very loose in the waist...and I’m not even that small! Normally in swimwear bottoms I am a medium or even large. I have a pear shape. The swim skirt from this same brand is sooo much more flattering than these shorts! I will include a picture of me in the swim skirt from coastal blue in the pictures I am attaching. I bought multiple of the skirts (also in size medium) and am not even going to bother getting a smaller size in the shorts. I don’t know if it shows in pictures but the skirt is way more flattering, cute and youthful than the shorts. The skirt is the picture with my toddler on the floor (in yellow pjs) with the heart on her face. The rest of the pictures are of the shorts. Both the skirt and shorts have a string in the inside to adjust. They also both have a panty under. I literally think the shorts make me look bigger than I am! I gave 2 stars because the quality is nice. I have many swimsuits from this brand and the quality is always nice 99% of the time. I may keepthese just to wear running or something with a t-shirt but I would be embarrassed to wear these to the pool. On a different body and shape these may work just fine, but on me they looked awful!

I ordered the shorts style in these bottoms, and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The back has a built in panty so that if the shorts float up in the water, your backside is still covered. They fit true to size and are very flattering (none of that weird bunching or pulling at the crotch as with some swim shorts). For reference, I am 5 feet 7 inches, 155 pounds, US women's size 10, with a very flat derriere, and the medium fit me perfectly (see photos). I purchased this is turquoise and after receiving it and wearing it on a beach trip, purchased it is black. I have the Coastal Blue mesh insert high neck top in both colors also. This swimsuit is very comfortable, flattering, and well made. It does not sag nor does in pinch in the belly. It moves with me and seems to slim my muffin top. I am 5'9, 140 lbs and purchased the medium. I am very happy with this swimsuit.

I'm surprised at these bathing suit bottoms. Fit perfectly, which means snug but not too snug. The cut is exactly what I want. Not too revealing but still looks stylish. Does not look or feel cheap and the price was great.
