Nokia Lumia 520 ~ Blue Back Cover Housing ~ Repair Part Replacement

I really like this cover and it says Nokia on it and not another brand which I really like. The material seems exactly the same as the original black cover I had. I also bought a yellow one since the price was cheap. These are not over the phone covers like you get at the mall they are the actual backs for the 520 phone which is nice.

Didn't fit quite as nicely as the original black back cover that came with the Lumia. This one would fall off now and then until I put a small strip of double-sided sticky tape (that I had lying around leftover from an iPad self-repair) along the inside top part of the phone (which you cannot see), now the blue back cover stays put. So, don't expect it to be perfect, but it's OK and the color looks good and hopefully someone else will benefit from having read about the sticky tape solution here.

These are definitely not OEM. I've got two original Nokia OEM covers (the black that came with the 520 and a white I bought local in OEM packaging) and these do not fit quite right. The buttons on these are just slightly off and you have to kludge the cover on to keep the cover buttons from continuously pressing either the power button or the camera button. They will work and they look fine (they do have the Nokia logo in black on the back), but it'll take a bit of work to get them on correctly. Whereas the Nokia OEM covers just snap right on. That being said, these are cheap, shipping is fast from overseas and they do look nice. I bought a red one and a cyan one and they are both the same so-so workmanship. You know the saying, "You get what you pay for."

This is definitely an authentic replacement part made precisely for the Lumia 520! I love it so much more than the usual black. One of the buttons had come off its peg in shipment, but everything else was perfect. This won't fit the 521, though, it's too short.

I thought this blue cover would look good on my Lumia 520. Wrong! This cover almost looks identical to the original black cover, but it isn't. I was able to replace it but it fits to tight, it squishes the volume up button rendering my Lumia 520 inoperable. I sure looks nice, to bad it's not the exact same size as original black cover. What sucks for me is i also bought a clear case, but without a working blue cover, the clear case doesn't look very good. And it's not worth the time, or money to return the clear case since i only paid $5 for it. Buying this blue cover was a waste of time/ money.

This replacement for the back cover of the Lumia 520 is just what I wanted. It fits perfectly and completely changes the look of the Lumia.

Although it came very fast-fron China!!! it was a perfect example of the shoddy workmanship on simple items like this cover = it snapped in w/ great difficulty and the side buttons did not work = totally useless. This was a very poor immitation = wrong texture in the back (smooth & shinny not rubbery)seller was very accomodating and offered refund..

The new blue cover is not as shiny and smooth as my original orange one. Also, it doesn't fit my phone well.
