🌼 Water Smart, Grow Beautiful!
The DIG GE200 Drip & Micro Sprinkler Kit is a comprehensive irrigation solution designed to efficiently water a variety of plants, including roses, shrubs, and trees, covering up to 700 square feet. Its low application rate minimizes evaporation, ensuring that water reaches the roots where it's needed most. The kit is easy to install and can be expanded to accommodate larger gardens.

Nice kit!
OK - I am a 42 yr old woman in bad shape. Lets start with that bcs it's kind of important. I'll begin by saying the kit is extensive, It comes with lots of parts and I personally don't have a huge area to cover so I have A LOT of the 1/2" hose left and plenty of the 1/4". The booklet that comes with the kit is comprehensive and wonderful. Fantastic pictures of everything. Easy instructions. I read it and looked it over for about 15 minutes and I was ready to start. Now for that part:It took me about 2 hours to put together and the only reason I took off one star was bcs I had great difficulty with one particular aspect which I will describe soon. The first thing I did was connect the parts that attach to the faucet. My outdoor faucet is low down so when I attached the backflow piece and the filter and then the third thingamajig - it was very low and was hitting the ground. I then dug out some soil under the faucet but the hose was still bending badly. I asked someone who knows about these things and he said I do not need the backflow piece nor the filter. Once I took those off I was good to go. Still had to dig out more btw - i think i dug down about 6 inches and sideways about a foot.Making the holes in the 1/2" hose is pretty easy. Plan everything out first so you know where you want to put the various drippers/sprayers. They do give a lot of goof plugs as well in case you made a mistake. And now the real problem I had. I found it very difficult to get the connector parts into the 1/4" hose. It really took me a long time for each one and my fingers really hurt for hours afterwards. It was a cold day so maybe the hose would have been "softer" had it been warmer out? I did read reviews saying warmer is better. In any case - VERY hard. When I turned the water on - everything was dripping and spraying beautifully. Except - 2 of the parts that I didnt connect strongly enough popped off and were spraying all over the place. So I had to go shut the water off, re-do them - which again was a pain and very hard to get into the 1/4" hose, but I finally got it done.It all works beautifully now and I will probably use all the leftovers to do my backyard as well. One more thing I will say - the way my area is set up - I had to crawl under a tree and around all kinds of bushes. This was physically very draining. I was squatting for most of the two hours. Also did some lunges and cardio was great bcs I was trying to push those things into the hose - that really got my heart pumping. All in all - good workout - my entire body hurts now AND I have a great watering system. What more could a girl want? :-)

So Far So Good
Gave it 4 star overall for just one reason: the sprinkler heads included with the kit. The 360 (red) sprays about 10’ +/-, one of the the 90 (blue) sprays a little wonky (maybe my fault-there may be debris in it somewhere). Point is this is an excellent kit, plenty of options, plenty of included parts, super easy to put together. I didn’t use a single “goof” plug, and only used 1 “T” fitting because we laid it all out first. Two hints: a hot cup of water makes assembly a breaze and if you have to go under a concrete walkway (3’ wide) I ran a 1”x 5’ PEX white “SharkBite” brand under the concrete to ensure the 5/8 feed line would not get damaged (the 5/8ths feed line slips right through the PEX tubing, but take a small piece to lowes or HD). Still some tweaking to do, but I’ve confidence in the product. Oh! For pushing the barb into 1/4 or 5/8 feed line, make sure its fully seated- I’ve read reviews that say they’ve had some fittings pop out, and I cant see that happening with this kit if its properly used. Happy sprinkling and Happy plants to all of us!

VERY EASY AND IT WORKS GREAT!
This is one of those things that is going to make my life much easier. No more dragging out the hoses and getting soaked from the oscillating sprinklers when I have to move them. I was a little concerned that installing this might be too much work for me, but it was so easy to do. The worst thing I can say about it is that I have sore thumbs from inserting the drip heads into the main hose. I have it running across my courtyard and then doubling back again, with a T connector at the turn which runs to a small flower bed on the side of the house. The spraying power of the micro sprinklers is better than I hoped, so I had to reposition a few of them to hit their targets, but now everything gets wet. My old Oak tree is going to be much happier this year, too. I didn't need to use any of the 1/4" tubing, but I may add some lines later for some potted plants in the front. I could have used a few more of the micro sprinklers, but for the price I paid, I don't mind buying them separately. I installed this system yesterday and it worked perfectly the first time I turned it on. I put it on a timer last night (with a water filter attached) and I now have a totally automated watering system for all of my beds. If this holds up in our blistering Texas heat, it will definitely be one of my better purchases.UPDATE: Four years later and this is still working great. I did eventually buy more sprinkler heads.

Surprisingly Easy to Install
I'd never installed a drip-microspray system like this before and it was surprisingly easy to design and install. The only part of the set-up that requires a bit of effort is inserting the fittings into the 1/4 inch tubing. I tried soaking the tubing first to soften it up but it was still difficult. I was working with temperatures in the 30's and 40's though - it might have been easier in warmer weather. If there were one thing I'd suggest - it would have been really nice to include a few extra spray nozzle heads in the kit. The kit comes with 11 microspray stakes, plus 3 x 360 degree nozzles, 4 x 180 degree nozzles and 3 x 90 degree nozzles. Because of the design of my layout, I couldn't really use the 360 degree nozzles at all and ideally I would have liked all 180 degrees nozzles. I understand that's the tradeoff in getting a configured kit, but throwing in a few extra nozzles would have added a lot more flexibility.I added a Gilmour timer into the system to automate the scheduling. If I ever needed to set up another system I would certainly do this one again. This is excellent value.

It works
Ot doesnt have a polypipe cutter in it so that was one thing. It works but I had to also buy a lot of pieces to fit my situation.
