Good ingredients
Not a gel moisturizer but not heavy at all. Very soothing and will improve inflamed skin. May need additional moisturizer if using on dry or older skin. Possibly could add a few drops of oil with application esp in winter. Good ingredients

Really good layering moisturizer!
I love the texture of this cream. It’s gel-like but not sticky. I’m prone to closed comedones and cystic acne, but this is very gentle and hasn’t broken me out at all. The tube is huge and I only use a pea-sized amount so i think it’s a great value and will last for a few months at least. It’s very lightweight and I’m able to use it a a base layer to boost my skin’s hydration before applying my prescription cream, with zero irritation. Bonus points for being unscented!

I feel like with the new formula line, my skin isn't as dry. Still evens out the redness and feels very light.

Not Moisturizing
I ordered this because unfortunately the Madecassoside Cream 2X is unavailable. I thought that since I like that product I would like this one. This is not moisturizing AT ALL. This will be my last purchase for this brand.

Excellent Soothing Moisturizer
This company knows how to make quality products. This moisturizer is a perfect choice if you've overdone it with retinol or tretinoin. The centella asiatica (cica or tiger grass) is soothing and relieves any burning feeling you get from retinol or tretinoin. It has a creamy consistency, pleasant scent, is non-greasy and hydrating. My skin is still moisturized the next morning. Highly recommend!

Not for me
Chose this item since it was for sensitive skin. Unfortunately it cause a stinging feeling on my skin. I was unable to use this product.

NOT THE SAME as the old 2x
Still a nice moisturizer- I’m super bummed the texture is different though. I actually loved the way the madecassoside 2x version hung around but didn’t break me out. This new version may be more popular because it sinks in very fast, but it feels less hydrating. Won’t be repurchasing unless I really can’t find something else. Sad.
