I HAVEN'T USED THIS PEPPER YET BUT CAN'T WAIT TO TRY IT IN A RECIPE BECAUSE IN ALL MY YEARS OF COOKING I HAVE NEVER TRIED IT , BUT SO MANY COOKS SWEAR HOW MUCH BETTER IT IS FOR CERTAIN RECIPES THAN BLACK PEPPER & A MUST IN CERTAIN RECIPES LIKE CHICKEN OR FISH OR SOME SAUCES ECT BECAUSE IT'S NOT SO OVERPOWERING BUT ADDS A GREAT FLAVOR . WE SHALL SEE THAN I'LL MAKE ANOTHER HONEST REVIEW . 🦆

The taste is good and I love Newmans products overall. I removed one Star because I don’t like the cap. It’s a metal cap that you twist to either the large holes or smaller holes to dispense the powder. It’s a pain to twist and the garlic gets stuck and now I can’t twist it closed all the way, so now some of the holes are exposed. Design flaw that I hope they fix.

Makes everything delicious but a little goes a long way. Too much and it gets spicy fast.

Good addition to taste of food!

This is going in the trash. I was really let down to find that Newman's Own Crushed Red Pepper, marketed as an organic product, comes in a plastic bottle. I expected a brand focused on organics to use glass packaging, especially given the growing concern about microplastics in our bodies.Because of this, I won’t be repurchasing and can’t recommend this to others looking for truly health-conscious organic spices. Disappointing choice from a brand I expected more from.
