Very handy tool, I purchased bc we had a water leak and I wanted to look behind our drywall to make sure no mold was growing. The cable length was long enough plus some! The cable camera was very flexible and was able to move it to get 360 degree view. The zoom quality of the camera was very good to get a close look, and the camera display on handheld was very clear, I was very pleased and it got the job done. This would also be a great tool if you were working on vehicles. The battery is charged by plugging in, and for the amount of time I used it, it didn’t even drain any of the battery. So I would guess you could use for quite a bit of time before having to recharge. The camera has a live view as well as it is able to take screenshots. Very nice quality and the price isn’t too bad either!

I've only had this tool for 24 hours and have already been able to explore a leak under the floor, rescue cat toys from under the refrigerator, and find items I did not know I had lost stuck up under the driver's seat of my car.The camera produces a clear picture and auto-focuses well. The adjustable light at the tip of the camera is bright. The screen is good sized and gives a clear view. Two little attachments for the tip of the camera, a magnet and a hook are handy (hence my retrieval of cat toys from under the refrigerator). The device comes with an installed micro-SIM card, so you can save pics and videos if you wish.My only complaint is that the articulating shifter just moves the camera in one plane (conceptually, just left and right, not up and down). You need to manually manipulate the cable to rotate the cable to rotate the tip of the camera to just the right plane before panning back and forth.If you need to look in hidden places and love gadgets, this item is for you. A good value for the price, IMHO.

Very clear screen. The way you can curve the camera is amazing. Has button to snap photos. Can transfer photos to a computer. Very easy to use. Nice case. Just be careful with zipper as you might have to hold the case in away not to break the zipper until it gets softer. Must be charged at least every 3 months to protect battery. Does not come with charger. Better than using an app from a Chinese company on your phone with a model that uses your phone. Apparently there is another model that has another camera also on the side of the tip , which I think may be a better choice for some, so compare. I bought this to make photos of my throttle body, break pads and rotors (I also have thickness guage for pads), and serpentine belt on my cars to determine what service they needed, rather than being scammed by the dealers. I also replace my own air filters and label them with dates and milage and take photos with my phone. Its nice to whip out a photo when needed.

Really high quality for the price. Articulation works great, picture quality excellent. Very happy with this purchase.

I needed something to inspect the inside of the carriage gearbox on my lathe. This worked surprisingly well with good clarity and depth of field, and the rotating head is EXTREMELY helpful.I had to go around gears and shafts to look at some areas, and found that by manipulating the rotating head you could go around them and even go through elbows on pipe, etc.The case is well built and should last a long time--cheaper plastic cases have hinges and latches snap off, etc. with little use.My gripes are:1. The cable exits at the bottom of the unit, which makes it awkward to handle while manipulating it in the hole, etc. It would work better if it exited at the back, or even the top of the unit.2. The cable is permanently attached to the screen. This makes it very cumbersome to charge as you have a 5 foot cable dangling from it when you try to set it down.3. The battery charge indicator is VERY small, and you can't really tell how much charge is left.Overall it performed very well, and I would give a qualified recommendation based on the negatives I listed.

I had a senior moment and couldn’t remember if I removed a blue shop towel from the engine girdle after installing a new oil pan. Rtv was already set and pan bolts tightened. Didn’t want to risk breaking the new aluminum pan prying on it to take it all back apart. Enter this little gem…with a coupon to boot!! Pulled drain plug out and took a look around. Nice and clear video, perfect lighting inside a pitch black engine and what do I see??? No blue shop towel was left behind. Well worth the price and saved me from pulling it all that back apart when it wasn’t needed. This is a super cool little gadget that I’m sure will see its use again….especially with my new found memory problems…..wait, what am I reviewing?

Been using this for a while now and has been great to get into small area, without having to tear things apart to get to check on. taking pictures and video are good, the integrated flashlight is an awesome feature. It flexes great from side to side, but around, so you have to twist the portion you're holding to get a better angle. But all-in-all its a great gadget for the shop.

Excellent borescope. Was able to isolate and confirm a block catalytic converter. Easy to use and comes with nice case to store and protect your product.
