The media could not be loaded. Perfect, was able to slice three eggs at the same time. I did use the single egg slicer to slice them the 2nd time to dice them as it was tricky and more time consuming to try and do that with this slicer, but was still faster than doing both slice cuts with a single egg slicer. I haven't tried it on bananas or anything else yet, but I imagine it will work just fine. I do like that the slicer top price is actually metal so it is heavy and pretty easy to slice with, I'm sure it will last a long time as it seems heavy duty and sturdy.

Okay, I didn’t think I needed a banana slicer... but I was wrong. This thing is amazing. It slices a banana in seconds, all PERFECTLY even, and makes snack time easier (and TONS neater). Great for kids if you have any banana eating cute little monkeys, smoothies, or just avoiding the mess of a knife or your kid trying to be helpful...just a little too energetic with the knife so all in all a trip to the ER is not helpful or part of the days AGENDA. It’s one of those little things that ends up being surprisingly useful and the type of fun you had when you were maybe 5 to 10, except it's just as fun every time not just once! Just please don't tell anyone I said this so I don't feel like a dork!

I absolutely love this egg slicer and it's very easy to clean

Really like this a lot! The base is steel and very sturdy. The top part is plastic, I’m not sure why. I would have given it a 5 star had that been steel too.It cuts very well. It feels like something my grandmother would have had in her drawer when things were truly made to last. (Minus the plastic part) Absolutely worth it! :)

I love my little “sausage” slicer. Although we don’t slice sausages with it however I do slice bananas and strawberries. No wires have broke and it’s so easy to use. It slices my bananas with ease and the design of it makes it fit in my kitchen drawers perfect. It was a great price to help me in the kitchen.

Probably better for slicing multiple eggs or bananas. The wires crush larger strawberries. Cleans up easily.

It works great but because bananas aren't flat you have to cut them in half before placing them in this but it does so the trick
