CURT16310 X5 Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Adapter for B&W Hitches, Industry-Standard Base Rails, 20,000 lbs

After reading the reviews and info on this product, I decided to give it a try. 2013 F-250 with a B&W turnover ball in the truck pulling a 40 ft 13000 lb toy hauler. A few notes for those looking at this mount. The clearance with a bedliner seems to be hit or miss. My bedliner sits flush with the top of the turnover sleeve and I had no problems with getting the pin to lock into the adapter. The clearance is very exact so make sure you have no debris or rust in the bottom of the sleeve. I use a B&W Patriot 18K hitch and it lined up perfect with the slots in the rails although I needed the weight of my camper in order to get all four pins into the slots in the hitch. Pulled my fifth wheel over 350 miles through various terrain and the mount performed flawlessly. No compaints at all. The mount is very solid, well made and nice finish. It is very heavy though so make sure you have some help getting into the truck.

Perfect for my already installed B&W hitch. Fits great.So I have ordered a second adapter for my son. Holy cow they shipped it fast. came well over a day early. Naturally my son was excited. This adapter plate is a beast, meaning lots of metal (heavy). Great craftsmanship, looks and functions great.Another job well done.

Quick delivery and fit like a glove. Here's what I have....2016 F350 DRW, spray in bed liner, B&W gooseneck, Husky 16K roller fifth wheel hitch. Needed a way to adapt the Husky fifth wheel to the gooseneck and this worked like advertised. Well made and its heavy so get help installing it.

WORKS GREAT. PULLED FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER .UP AND DOWN CAROLINA MOUNTAINS..YES WE HAVE 8% GRADES HERE JUST LIKE THE MOUNTAINS IN THE WEST. ONLY FAULT IS THAT IT IS NOT TIGHT IN GOOSE NECK HOLE SO THERE IS JUST A VERY SMALL BIT OF PLAY. YES I WOULD BUY ANOTHER BUT WHY .THIS SHOULD LAST FOR MANY YEARS.

Even with all the research I did on this product before purchasing. Model 16310 is made for the square B&W goose neck hitch system, I was unaware of that when ordered this up but lucked out and got the one I needed. Before ordering, realize that if you have a bed like er wether spray in it drop in, modifications are going to be required. For drop in bed liner you will have to cut the liner for it to fit and latch. For spray in liner you will either have to cut the liner or modify the hitch part itself. My spray in bed liner is just under 31/6” think and I ended up elongating the hole for the pin latch. I knew before hand that by doing this voided any warranty. With that said this is a great product towing my fifth wheel toy hauler around and doesn’t move or rattle at all. Well made product.

Fits my fifth wheel hitch like a glove, slides right into the gooseneck hitch with no slop that I can tell, and it's quite heavy. I have a linex spray in bedliner and this hitch adapter looks good in the bed of my truck. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I figured this to be an import but was surprised it is made here. It weighs 105 pounds and is more than adequate for mounting my fifth wheel hitch, which fit perfectly in the slots. I like this system because everything is removable, even though I do need help. I did have shim one side as it tended to rock a bit but I think that had more to do with the way my B&W Turnover ball hitch was mounted.

Beware, The quality of workmanship leaves to be desired. The measurement on the ball is 4 inches long with hole centered at 2''. The product arrived 4 1/2 long on shaft and the hole was a quarter inch off center of where should be on shaft. Took to welder and would need to be tore completely apart to be fixed, Make sure if you buy measure against ball that fits in truck bed.
