OTTERBOX COMMUTER SERIES Case for Samsung Galaxy S9+ - Frustration FRĒe Packaging - OCEAN WAY (AQUA SAIL/AQUIFER)

I have owned many OtterBox cases over the years. From the original Defender for my iPhone 3gs, to this case for my gf's new Galaxy S9+. I have also owned many other cases along the way, in an attempt to find a good alternative to OtterBox. For my own Galaxy S9+, I actually use a Lifeproof FRE. While it is nice if you need one totally water sealed, the material quality cannot come close to OtterBox (not to mention OB is cheaper!). All in all, this Commuter was in very simply packaging, and was removed and installed in under a minute. I'd call that a win.

I wanted a thinner case that was still very protective. This case is working well. I've dropped my phone a few times, and it's kept my phone safe. The case hasn't cracked either.There is some slight discoloration around the rubber parts of the case (if you look at the product picture, it's the darker colored part of the case). I put it in my back pocket and in my purse a lot, so I think it's from that. Not that big of a deal, just wanted to share because it does make the case look a bit dirty.

Fits perfect but it's sad dont have enough bumpers for the left and the right sides for my Galaxy S9+ phone, my glass screen protector is cracked already, they only good enough bumpers on the top and the bottom sides only.

Great solid two piece case. Inner layer is cushiony rubber. Outer shell is hard and protective. Edges are a little higher then phone screen to protect screen when placed facedown. Works well with my Armorshield film. I have not tried a glass screen protector.I had a knock-off Otterbox before this. Thoughti would save a few bucks. It sucked! The inner layer was a hard plastic and the outer layer was the soft rubber..wth?????? Everytime i pulled my pop socket out, the back would pull away from the case and after only a few weeks, there was a noticeable gap between the layers now. Perfect for trapping dirt, dust and pocket lint. Annoying.Now that I have my Otterbox, no more gap problem. Plus, it is still slim enough to fit in my PhoneSoap UV cleaner with the pop socket attached. Yay!Only complaint is that it is much much lighter in color than the photo and any previous teal green Otterbox. More of a baby nursery minty green than anything. But then again, I have a Rainbow Dash My Little Pony pop socket so I can live with the minty color lol!

I ordered this the same day I pre-ordered my S9+, thanks to Prime it came before the phone and I was really excited. Once my phone came I popped the phone in and you could tell that it was protecting the phone. No issues with the buttons, I will say that I didn't look at this case closely when I bought it but the bottom ports for headphones and charger are protected with a little flap. The flap can be annoying at first because it's stiff but it's really good at keeping the dirt and dust out of those crevices! The material of the soft part of the case lends to it getting a little dirty. I've wiped it clean with a disinfectant wipe once a week with no issues. Also I love the color it's true to what you see in the picture.Overall a strong, sturdy case to protect your expensive phone!

I love it it feels very light and it's not bulky but still protects the phone well I have had a few big drops and my phone is fine. Use with a decent screen protector that is case friendly. And just be careful not to lift the screen protector when u put the case on and it should be fine. To put on the case take the hard part off the soft part. put the soft part on first (being careful not to lift the corners of the screen protector) then put the hard cover on. And pull the charger flap and headphone jack flaps out. 100 percent would buy again.

I like bright phone cases simply because I often go hiking and have previously lost and been unable to find a phone because it had a black and grey case. This fits my S9 perfectly and it’s holding up really well when I take it out. The rubber part shows dirt pretty easily but it isn’t too difficult to clean off. Plus it’s lightweight and not overly bulky. I like the port covers at the base of the case as well they are resilient to being bent. I’ll admit I’ve dropped my phone twice since I’ve bought this case about a month ago and am happy to say no cracks or dents have occurred to neither the phone nor the case!

I love how sturdy and dependable this brand of phone cases is. I have never had anything but a good experience with them.This particular case has the nice shock duality of the shell case and shock absorber part. It also has nice covers for the places where I plug it in to charge, etc.Love the colors as well as texture and durability. Can't go wrong with ordering an Otterbox phone case. This statement is one from someone who has always ordered one for each new phone.Great job guys, keep it up because they just keep getting better.

Love Otter boxes, I bought a cheaper one once and regretted it. I wish they would sell screen protectors that went with it and fit the S9 plus screen.
