Just plugged my new plug into the wall, did nothing else, and it instantly exploded! There was a loud bang and flash of light and the plug burst open! It tripped my circuit breaker, I'm lucky.

Great replacement adapter, works as stated with my Western Digital External Hard Drive, and the plug does not over heat like previous adapters.Plus I can now listen to my stored music and Manga again. Nice :)

Bought to replace the power supply on an old 1TB Western Digital Elements drive. Seems to be decent quality and so far is doing its job exactly as required.

My old one went south so this works well so far.

has a 'multi-fitting' adapter end, you put the connection of the correct size onto the main cable, more things to lose.
