Romance vs The World - The Epic Viral Card Game for Spicy Book Lovers

I purchased this as a gift for my wife. She is an avid reader and member of a book club.I am well aware of the “wholesome” love stories my wife enjoys with her gal-pal book club. I bought this card game for her to enjoy with her friends.The game plays like other adult card-based party games. There is a prompt card and other players select a card to be played and ultimately selected by the player who played the prompt card.I can speak from experience, this game was a lot of fun! Even though I didn’t understand many references, we still had a great time playing. My wife has played the game with friends many times.It is definitely worth purchasing for the “romance” book lover in your life!

I was skeptical at first with there not being many reviews, but I do not regret this purchase in the slightest. We had the absolute best time playing this. Works like Cards against humanity except it’s all about books. Some spicy cards. Some perfectly written for obsessive book lovers. Best laughs and so much fun. A little pricey but worth it imo. Wish they had expansion packs

This was such a fun product! I bought it out of the blue after seeing an author I follow post about it. I do wish there was more raunchy cards to the pile but it was a fun bookclub game to play for sure!

REALLY wanted to love this but it’s just okay. Not worth the price in my opinion after playing.The cards are super pretty and there are some really great cards in there but the wording and writing of a lot of the pink cards vs the black make no sense and you have to use your imagination or add words in to make things make sense or sound correct when reading out loud.Played this with my book girlies and they were equally disappointed but enjoyed it when the cards were good.Theres also several repeating cards we came across in just one round alone.

Perfect for a bookish game night

I took this to a book signing event where I met up with a few bookish friends. We had a great time playing! Very much like the other common game, but with a bookish romance theme. Perfect for romance lovers!
