Thrown off at first but they are great!
At first I was thrown off because of the repeats but I wasn’t looking at the letters below the pictures. Blue stack is missing the vowels and the colored stacks differentiate the vowels and are missing the consonants. My child was already trying to use them right out of the box. Overall I am happy with them.

Great item.
I bought these for my son whose in kindergarten. He loves being able to write on the cards and flipping them over to see if he spelled the word correctly. Glad I bought these.

My preschooler loves learning with these
This is a great set of very versatile flash cards. There are essentially two sets, so you can find the vowel sound in the middle or work on beginning and ending sounds. You can also choose to use these with a verbal response or work on letter writing by having them write on the cards with the dry-erase markers. I also love how portable these are. They've been instrumental in my nearly four-year-old learning to read and spell. You can easily bring them to mundane tasks like getting an oil change and work on them with your kiddo while in the waiting room. My little guy likes that the word is spelled out in full on the reverse side and enjoys checking to see if he is correct.A few of the words are interesting. "Cog" (with a picture of a gear) doesn't seem particularly age-appropriate. Another features an image of two kids cleaning a window, and the word is "rub." But overall, this flashcard set has been a great learning tool, and I feel confident recommending it.

Helps Kindergarten age kids with their sight words recognition and learning
This is a nice practice set with some fun activities, to help your kindergarten learner with their spelling, writing, and word recognition. The dry erase sight word completion, was a helpful tool for learning letters and writing. Fun, vibrant colors make this a bit more exciting, than just having writing exercises on paper or in a note book. Recommend this item, as a learning tool.

My 1st grader loves these!
These are definitely a little too simple for my 1st grader, but he loves doing them and gets a sense of pride from being able to complete an entire deck accurately. These are cute, easy to figure out, and have a nice mix of subtly different activities (fill in the blanks for consonants OR vowels, for example). The dry erase markers work well, although the caps are oddly hard to remove and hard to stick on the end of the pen. My one other complaint is there is a card with an image of a Jesus-looking person and the word they're looking for is God, which is problematic on so many levels... but... otherwise this is a great little set.

Great for Frist Work Teaching
I have been using these cards with my 3- and 4-year-olds at preschool. There is a huge variety of cards and 4 pens so more than one child can join. I like how the answers are on the back so each child can self-correct themselves. The pictures are bright, vibrant and cheery and there are lots of different things to choose from. I like to organize them into sound groups and give each their own children set, then switch that way it's easier for them to be predictive, and I know what sound we've covered. The pens wipe off easily too. This is a great little set to include at writing time.

Great for Wee Ones!
This is a great set for little ones! My soon-to-be 4 year old is one eager little girl and is just hungry to learn! This this point she knows her entire alphabet with schooling that we do from home, so this is naturally the next step in the learning process - spelling, sounding and memorization. These flash cards are easy to use. The markers work as expected, wipe off with little effort and don’t stain the cards. The cards are sturdy, and I love that they are waterproof, because she is often times snacking when she's learning! She asks to work on these often and enjoys them very much.

Great for 5 year old
My 5 year old loves these CVC cards and thought they were really fun. At first we pronounced the word that matched the image, then guessed which letter was missing. Then we flipped it over and practiced spelling based on the pronunciation. After completed a handful of the same colored ones, I gave him one of the stickers as an award. To my surprise, he wasn't frustrated or confused at all. He followed along well and seemed to pick up with repeating pronunciations of other words. I liked that it came with markers and a drawing string bag, but I do wish the bag was mesh or of another material other than plastic.
