Bought for ferret
Bought this to convert into a ferret cage. So far love it. Assembly is easy. I do suggest using a power drill on a low setting to avoid stripping and breaking. (Although it says not to, it my job done quicker) At first it seems flimsy putting it together but in the end it's actually pretty nice. I can't wait to decorate all the inside for her. Shes loving it already. **you assemble the latch yourself and I chose to put it a little higher for convenience. You can choose where you want it.

Kittens love it
Takes a little while to assemble, but I was also doing it by myself. Would be much quicker with 2 people like they suggest. Obviously not super strong, but well worth the $200. May even get a 2nd one to attach to it. Highly recommend.

It’s a terrible product.
Multiple pieces were missing, many came broken. The wood quality is terrible, and there are many pieces of wood missing the pre-drilled holes. It is difficult to assemble. And when they say the color is “orange” they do not mean like a pretty wood natural colored orange. They mean neon orange. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Cat house
A little expensive. Assembles well if careful. Had to put on a base for stability. Medium sturdiness. Reasonable size. Cats like it.

Consider paying someone to install it...
We've put together a lot of furniture, but this was a BEAR to install. We ended up enlisting a friend with better tools than our basic kit and it still took hours. I thought the size itself was fine, but one of our cats is interested and the other (the one were trying to transition to being an indoor-only cat) is still acting like it's a cage rather than a privilege. Aka it's a bit small for her.One of the shelves snapped off on her first jump, which was disappointing. It was one of the pre-built shelves, so it wasn't installation error. Also, while I like that there is a door for humans to enter, we're going to have to get wire cutters to install a pet door to connect to the house. Not very practical to carry the cats out to it and then lock them inside... Better for them to be able to come/go as needed. Wish the kit would have included wire cutters.

Just As Advertised Delivered Promptly
Great product, well packed in double ply cardboard box with rigid styrofoam packing. Each panel wrapped in foam. This is my second catio this year, the first being the Aivituvin Catio Outdoor Cat Enclosure For Multiple Cats. I consider this one a better quality except for the door latch. I will buy a better latch before I use it.Assembly took about four hours working alone. Directions were explicit with very good illustrations. All component parts were clearly numbered. I even received a call from the vendor to see if I was happy with the product. Here are my suggestions:(1) Don't pay shipping on Aivituin if you can get free shipping with this one..(2) Use a drill driver... carefully.(3) Separate the screws into a different dish for each size. Take care to use the correct size in each step.(4) Be sure you have two racheting bar clamps to clamp component parts together while you screw them together.

It’s horribly put together
It’s cheap, the amount of money you spend doesn’t match with the quality. First off, my two cats have used it three times and the top shelf already ripped itself out. It wasn’t the screws I put in, it’s the tiny nails that were used in building the parts that hold up the shelves. They’re not fat either, my oldest is 11 pounds and the youngest is 7.While constructing it, my boyfriend had to hammer the boards back because they couldn’t even hold the weight of the little sitting boxes. The screws provided for the boxes were horrible as well, they wouldn’t hold the box together so we had to use our own screws. It’s a messy product but the shell isn’t horrible. We’re planning on putting our own boards in to make it more cat friendly.Overall: I say don’t spend the $300+ on this.

Easy, fast and well packaged
2 things: 2 people make this easier, and find your missing 10mm wrench because you'll need it toward the end. I think it was supposed to come with one, but ours was missing. Also, if you have even a mild allergy to cedar, you will be overwhelmed by the smell when you open the box. It's STRONG.Assembly was easy enough, well labeled and my husband and I didn't fight when we (mostly me) assembled it in just under 3 hours. Our toddler "helped" and the orange cat that wants to be outside screamed at us from the window the entire time.If you want to use this in conjuction with a window, make sure you remove the wire from the piece in the middle on the back, but keep the frame as it is structurally necessary.
