This Creme of Nature detangler has been a real win for my teenage daughter who has 3c hair. It’s genuinely effective at tackling even the most stubborn tangles and matted sections, which is exactly what we needed for her curl type.The product delivers on its promises - it detangles really well, moisturizes dry hair beautifully, and leaves her hair looking silky smooth and shiny. The scent is pleasant, and the overall quality feels solid. For 3b-3c type curls specifically, this seems to be a great match, as it works through knots without causing breakage or excessive pulling.However, there’s one important thing to know about this product: it’s very thick, which creates both benefits and challenges. The thick consistency means it has good staying power and really coats the hair to work through tangles. But here’s the catch - once it starts flowing out of the bottle, even though it’s thick, it can come out surprisingly quickly.This became an issue with my daughter, who like most teenagers, has absolutely no concept of portion control when it comes to hair products. The thick formula can be deceiving because you think you’re getting a small amount, but then suddenly you have way more product than you intended. This can lead to waste and also potentially weigh down the hair if you use too much.My advice would be to start with a very small amount and work it through the hair gradually. You can always add more, but it’s harder to deal with over-application. Despite the portion control learning curve, this has become a staple in our routine because it really does work well for her hair type. I’m so glad I found this! My dog’s fur tends to mat easily, especially around the ears and tail, and this cream makes brushing a breeze. It smells amazing, leaves the coat soft and shiny, and works through tangles without pulling or causing discomfort. A little goes a long way, so one bottle lasts a while. It’s now a must-have in our grooming routine. Very effective and provides great moisturizing for the coat and skin. Overall great value for what its purpose is.

Pretty good. Works better with the knot removing brush I previously reviewed. I just prefer the sprays better. Easier to use, not as messy.

Helps a lot with untangling my hair. It leave my hair soft, moisturized and smelling soooo good, I guess it also gives it a shine? Not too sure. Definitely effective and worth it .

This product is amazing for taming tangled and knotted hair after shampooing. My hair is a bit longer than shoulder length, baby fine, grey and dry. It tangles terribly.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Doesn’t detangle hair as well as I had hoped. Smells good tho!

I’ve tried everything. My hair is naturally thick and wavy, and every time I take a shower it comes out in knots. I’ve tried so many conditioners— all sorts of herbal essences, Pantene, tressemme, garnier, Biosilk, chia, even baby shampoos made to untangle hair. I’ve tried soaking my hair in masks, argan oils, almond oils, coconut oils, home made banana and egg deep treatments that lasted several hours, even MAYONNAISE. Literal! mayonnaise!I’ve tried detangling leave in creams, sprays, leave in conditioners… I’ve tried it all. Every shower, I’d get out and it would be in knots, and nothing I did, and no matter how carefully I brushed it, seemed to help. And my hair is barely past shoulder length. The only thing that came close is Healthy Sexy Hair’s Want It All, but that stuff is like $20 a bottle and doesn’t last very long if I use as much as I actually need.Enter this detangler.Tbh, I wasn’t expecting it to be helpful because so many products had promised to. I squeezed out a little bit onto my hands after a shower, rubbed them together to help spread it, and started rubbing it in/on my hair, which had once again become knotted after rinsing out conditioner.Oh.My.GOD.I could quickly, easily brush my hair. It was like brushing through butter. And it didn’t take a lot of product— just enough to have a thin coating on each hand. It wasn’t a big struggle to get it to knotted areas, I didn’t have to fight knots as I tried to get it through — it just worked. It just WORKED.When my hair dried, it was considerably less frizzy and dried out than usual. And I’ve tried SO many different things to help with that when my hair is dry later after a shower (I don’t blow dry, I don’t straighten or curl most days, and it takes a few hours to dry). I didn’t have to slather on a bunch more product to get my hair to be calm and not have a bunch of dry split ends. It was just… soft. And smooth. and for the first time in a very long time, it looked healthy.The fact that this stuff is about $7 when so many fancy brands that don’t work are like $30, or even Healthy Sexy Hair is $20 - it’s almost unbelievable how great this stuff is.I would 100% recommend. To my thick, easily tangled haired friends : we finally have a solution.
