The needle like prong goes into the cork and the pumping of air pops the cork and makes it easy to put back in the bottle. The down side is trying to get the cork off the neede after uncorking the wine. If there is an easy way, I haven’t discovered it.

Saw something pretty much exactly like this at a home and garden show, but being sold for 60 dollars. I laughed and walked away, looked it up on Amazon, and found this beauty for way less. Also used it a week later to enjoy wine with some friends, and it worked exactly as it should have. No longer will I disintegrate every cork I open (we are actually saving them and collecting them in a glass case). Thumbs up to this product!

This product works pretty well. It takes different amounts of psi depending on the wine brand. You have to be careful with the storing plug as I had trouble removing it.

I have opened many bottles of wine and broke many corks using the old fashion openers nothing is more convenient than using the air pressure cork remover

Everything worked great the first few times, then the cork pump broke. still use it just reuse original cork.

Only gave 3 stars as I purchased as an early Christmas gift.

Bought 3. Two worked fine, but one was defective. Since it was a gift I didn’t know and too late to return. When they work they are great. But this is not a “finely tuned” instrument.
