Basically film, not hard plastic.
Not a. Hard plastic as I've had on my other devices and not only would it not stick without bubbles. Doesn't feel like it would protect against any more than a small pair of scissors falling directly on the camera lol after trying to get one on bubble free 10 times I gave up. Granted maybe no one makes a hard plastic cover for it's camera but as a person who use to sell phones and accessories this cover is trash. Shaped perfect but bad material.
