I used these to serve both hot soup and salads and it was sturdy enough for both. I think the size was good for a side serving for adults. For a main course, I would recommend something larger. They looked classy for a disposable item and were not flimsy.

These are the best quality disposable plastic bowls that I have bought, and the gold stripe gives them a more formal look. I had a hard time convincing my guest to throw them away, everybody wanted me to keep and reuse them, which I’m sure you probably could, depending on what you had originally used them for. Definitely sturdy enough for soup and pasta dishes.

Perfect for our Thanksgiving meal. They are not very thick, so good for dessert or salad, but not great for piling up heavy foods. Great value for the money, and they look nice.
