Oh my goodness, this has to be the best iron, ever!I have had many irons in my days, some very expensive, and they couldn’t compare to this one. It just glides over the fabric with no resistance. The steam amount is perfect, and there is not one wrinkle or even a sign of a wrinkle left. The weight is perfect, not too heavy but not too light either. The cord is nice and long so you’re not struggling to get to the end of the ironing surface. It’s easy to fill the reservoir and I like the automatic shut off feature too.5 stars is the highest allowed, but I would easily give it a 10 plus!You can’t go wrong with this iron!

The steam iron is about 3 pounds (1.36 kg), so it doesn’t feel heavy to me. Reading the manual, I could quickly figure out how to use the iron. However, it didn’t provide a picture or diagram on how to open the water tank. It said to put it on horizontal, or upright, position and then fill the tank to max level. It didn't mention how to open the tank. However, I found a not very visible measuring cup icon on the water tank cover. I first tried to slide the cover upwards but then realized I had to grab the slightly protruding edge near the spray nozzle and then lift towards me. From there, I didn’t encounter any further complications except that the tank is not clear, hence the max level line is not very useful to me as I can’t see any water through it. I had to refer to the manual to find out the maximum volume 450 ml. The included measuring cup has 4 level lines in 50 ml increments, from 50 to 200 ml. So, I filled it twice 200 and once 50 ml.Having the tank filled and closed, I plugged in the iron and the red power indicator light below the handle turned on immediately. The temperature control knob made clicking noises while turning. I set the temperature to Wool. When the iron reached a set temperature, a blue thermostat indicator light on top of the handle turned off automatically. While holding the iron, I could set the steam level with my thumb and used my thumb to press the spray nozzle as well. There’s also a steam burst button which I could press with my index finger while holding the iron. But I had to be careful not to hold the steam burst button too long, or it began to leak from the sole plate.I also almost made the mistake of using reverse osmosis filtered water to prevent scale build-up. My former steam iron required distilled or filtered water, so I thought that would be the case here, too. It said even in the beginning to use distilled water if my tap water is hard. Yet, I have the habit to thoroughly read manuals and user guides and I discovered a contradiction to that advice a bit further in the manual. It added that the steam iron has an Anti-Calc System that makes using tap water a requirement as distilled or demineralized water would actually change the chemical properties of the anti-calc filter and damage it. There’s a permanent resin filter in the water tank according to the manual that also prevents scale from forming. I assume that part of using distilled water if hard water is present is a mistake. Otherwise, why would the manual have told me so much about an Anti-Calc System that makes distilled water not only obsolete but forbidden. My best bet is to avoid distilled or demineralized water.To another topic: When ironing delicates, I didn’t have to worry about dripping water when steam runs out as the steam iron also has an Anti-Drip System. It prevented water drops from vaporizing and leaving water stains on delicate clothing like my silk blouses. To get rid of mineral build-up, I used the Auto-Clean function every other week. For that, I had to fill the tank to maximum level, set steam level to zero (no steam) and set the thermostat knob to the highest setting. Then I plugged in the iron and waited for the power indicator light to turn off. Then I set to the lowest temperature and unplug the iron. Over the sink, I pressed and hold the Auto-Clean button and shook it back and forth to release any impurities that accumulated. It took roughly 40 seconds until self-cleaning was done. I’d say it works as I still can’t see any buildup on the sole plate for the two months I’ve been using it.One important safety feature for me is that the iron turns itself off after 15 minutes of inactivity in upright position and 30 seconds in horizontal position. To turn it on again, I just have to move it back and forth on fabric. I can also use the iron to steam out creases and wrinkles on my curtains, as it allows me to apply bursts of steam when the iron is n a vertical position.To store my iron, I let it cool down and empty any remaining water. I always leave it upright on its heel rest.

Great iron! This thing heats up in about 30 seconds and works fantastic. The quality is above what I expected for this price range.

I really liked this iron as it was heavy and pressed very well. Then suddenly 8 months down the road it quick heating completely.Contacted the seller. After trouble shooting their recommendations, it still didn’t work. They were happy to replace it.Seller communicated well. Received the iron one week later.New iron so far is working very well.4 stars only because of iron needing replacement.

I bought this product in February after the Rowenta I’ve had for about 15 years started to leak water while steam pressing. After watching all the reviews for this machine I made the plunge. I really had high hopes and wanted to like this iron. After receiving it, I used this for a week while building some costumes. The steam output was inconsistent and poor. Not anywhere near what I saw in the video reviews. The kicker is, I recently pulled it out for a project and the steam function workedfor a moment, but then quit altogether. I did all the trouble shooting and nothing. Very frustrating. I’m back to using my Rowenta and even though it leaks sometimes, it still works. So, buyer beware.

This iron is out here laying clothes flatter than a church usher’s hat on Easter Sunday.Soon as I plugged it in, it got hot like it knew I had somewhere to be. No waiting. No warm-up monologue. Just sizzle; let’s go. And that steam? Baby. That steam came out like it owed me money. One puff and the wrinkle was GONE. Not reduced. Not softened. GONE. Like it caught the Holy Ghost and ascended.Now listen, this iron is smarter than your cousin who “fix phones” but never graduated. It got auto shut-off like, "If you don’t respect me enough to sit me up, I’ll turn myself off. I don’t play those games." Face down too long? It’s like, “Oh, we done here? Cool.” Ain’t nobody burning no shirts in THIS house.And it glides? BABY. This thing glides like it's late for a cookout and heard somebody brought crab legs. The ceramic soleplate be smooth like 90’s R&B. I was ironing with one hand, drinking sweet tea with the other.Oh, and that self-cleaning feature? I didn’t even know irons needed to clean themselves, but this one said, “I got it, you relax.” A whole independent queen.And the best part? I loved it so much, I bought TWO. Gave one to my sister, and now she won’t shut up about it. Talking about, “Girl, this iron got me feeling like First Lady at revival.” She's calling me every week like she's in a SUNDU support group.For the price? They are basically GIVING this away. I feel like I stole it and now I gotta sleep with one eye open before SUNDU realizes they messed up.Moral of the story: if your iron ain't doing all this, you ain't living right. Go get you one. SUNDU did what needed to be done. 🙌🏾
