Good looking and comfortable!
I work in a manufacturing plant. I don't really do manual labor all day - I'm more of an office guy who goes out on the floor for an hour or two at a time, so I don't need anything super heavy-duty like a steel-toed boot. I love these shoes! They were instantly comfortable and required no breaking in. They look stylish and I could probably wear them outside of work without anyone guessing they have a safety toe. I even wear them outdoors when I go out for a walk at lunchtime. They are certainly heavier than normal shoes, but noticeably lighter than a steel-toed shoe. I have always had good luck with Keen, and these are no exception. The blue color looks great with jeans and many other pants. I'm thinking about ordering another pair (of the shoes, not pants).

Break them in, it's worth it.
I've worn these shoes for a couple of weeks. I'm on my feet all day running around on the job site. They were reasonably comfortable, but the carbon toe on the right shoe comes back a little far and pressed on the top of the foot. I thought about sending them back but decided to stick it out and see if it would break in. I'm glad I did. On the 4th or 5th day I worked 15 hours and at the end of the day I realized I hadn't thought much about it. Now it doesn't bother me at all, they're super comfortable, and I'm really glad I stuck it out.I walk about 15,000 steps a day so it took a minute to break them in, but I've also spent a lot of money on work shoes and these are the best by far. All the other shoes either fall apart immediately, are uncomfortable, or are big and bulky. I've spent between $60 and $175 so I think this price is fair for what you get. I like the fact that they're low profile and stylish.

Great aesthetics but be aware and understanding
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The shoe bottom is stiff like a flank of wood and I recommend folding it in half for a minute to allow it to flex easier when walking. Some discomfort on the inside outer seam when the shoe folds because it has double the material that folds over stiffly which is a trade off between comfort and durability. I wear an 11.5 shoe and prefer wide due to it typically giving a less pointed toebox. Safety toe shoes are naturally rounded so I still choose wide to avoid the hardened toe from irritating my toes or pinching if you kneel. This shoe seems to be a little wider in the foot and toebox than my other keen and timberland safety toe shoes. The toe box I appreciate but the foot area requires more synching to avoid some swimming. I could’ve probably went down a half size and wide would’ve been more fitting but not sure if it was worth the back and forth since it seems I’m between both options. The comfortability is as good as my others in the past while being more casual and not soo over the top looking. When wearing this shoe, I can still smell a rubber/ chemical (NOT like NEW tire smell) smell (while wearing them) after 1 week still.

Comfortable
Normally wear 11.5, ordered 11.5. Fit it good, not even close to being too tight. Colors are same as described, Comfortable to wear driving all day with occasional walking. Longevity unknown yet.

Kneen work shoes
This is truly a great shoe for working in which provides the protection of the toes from being crushed unfortunately I don’t need that kind of protection or rigidity in a shoeOver all great quality just heavy duty shoes for working in

Not very comfortable
I have been wearing steel toes for over42 years. These shoes are the worst ones I ever own. I have worn them daily for 3 weeks and wish I could go to the landfill and find the ones I tossed because they had fallen apart and put them on. Although ugly and worn, they were comfortable. The positive feature of these shoes are that they are light weight due to the composite toe. However, if you have a mid to high arch, the top of the shoe sits on top of your foot. I wear a women’s 10 or a man’s 9. I have tried loosening the shoe laces and I still get a rub. The soles on my feet hurt by the end of a 8-10 hour shift. It is like there is no padding on the insoles. I would not recommend these shoes unless you try them on for size. Due to a family emergency, I haven’t had the time to look for a different pair and chuck these in the trash, But I will do do shortly. I can’t take them anymore.

Toebox is not even close to being wide enough
I had to return these because my toes didn't fit at all. Like almost all shoe companies, Keen makes ridiculously narrow toeboxes that don't match the natural shape of the human foot, even when they are labelled "extra wide". As far as alternatives for safety toe shoes, my toes do fit comfortably in the "6D" width by the Hoss brand and they also fit comfortably in the Carets brand "Determination" boots. It's a shame that so many companies like Keen make otherwise good quality shoes with many positive features and good build quality, but they lack the common sense to make the toebox match the actual shape and function of human feet. It's a baffling and absurd situation with the entire footwear industry.
