Got this for my mom as a Mother’s Day present, and she seems to be very happy with it. She says it's vastly superior to her old one, and less damaging to her dyed hair. Although it's not cheap, it's a premium product and a perfect gift for your loved ones!

Really impressed with this straightener! As someone who has thin, fine hair I really appreciate that I don’t have to crank the heat super high in order to get my styles to hold all day. I actually think this flat iron made my hair feel softer and silkier after use which is a plus! I like how quickly it heats up and that I don’t have to worry if I forget to turn it off. The straightener also remains pretty cool to the touch on the outside, making it easy to use when curling hair as well!

I've used GlamPalm for eight years and was ready for an upgrade after hearing about it from a Korean friend. While I loved the old one (which still works great) the new one is even better. I strongly recommend this brand for the build quality, materials used, and most importantly the results. There are no snags and I feel like I'm not damaging my hair. It also doesn't snag and heats up as quickly as advertised. Lastly, it's awesome that you can use it to straighten and curl.

This product didn't work well on my hair, but my mom really likes it. I have super fine curly hair and while the straightener initially did a great job, my hair started to frizz and flyaway within an hour after using it (I used the same hair products as I did with my original straightener). I tried it 2 more times with the same result. I was bummed because I really liked how it felt it my hand and how quickly it heats up. I passed it on to my mother who has medium hair and it's a winner in her book. My guess it it would work on most hair types, but if you have baby fine hair like me, you might find yourself on the frizzy side.

The media could not be loaded. First of all, the touch-style temperature control is super fancy and stylish. The iron itself looks really sleek too. I’ve tried both curling and straightening with it, and it works great for both. My hair comes out smooth and shiny, and it feels like salon-level results at home. Love it so far!

I had never heard of glampalm before but decided to give this straightener a try. For the $200+ price point I knew I was gonna be disappointed if it didn’t make my coffee for me too. Well, after having used this, I discovered I was wrong. I am very impressed and it left me extra time in the morning to be able to make my own coffee. Opening this up out of the box it feels like a luxury item. The cord itself is professional length which indicated to me that I was dealing with a much higher quality product that would obviously last longer in my home than your typical big box store purchase. Now I started to understand the reasoning behind the higher price point. The ceramic plates are coated with something that’s supposed to be healthier for your hair and cause less damage however, any heat is heat damage at the end of the day so always be aware and never use temperature settings higher than what you personally require. Having said that I usually require 400° + temperatures in order to get my hair to do any kind of styling. Now you’re probably thinking to yourself wow she must have some really curly hair, no what I have is the world‘s most stubborn straight hair in the history of ever. My hair is so stubborn and will not hold a curl so badly that often hairdressers will become so frustrated that they’ll just give up. So wasn’t I pleasantly surprised when I only needed to use about 300° in order to get my hair to flat iron style as well as to flat iron curl. And that curl lasted two whole days, the only reason it didn’t last longer was because it rained and my hair got wet. My hair has never flat iron curled once in my life much less held the curls with using an airflow styler to set the curl as it’s curling it, so this was monumental for me. As a straightener, I don’t really require straightening I just do it to tame flyaways and help hide those split ends, but it did a great job and my hair was able to glide through the plates like butter. My bigger problem was making sure I wasn’t clamping the plates too tight because my hair was gliding so smoothly I didn’t think it was doing the job, I thought my hair was sliding under the plates and away from the heat. But now, it was doing what it was supposed to be doing and doing it very well.The beveled edges and floating plates made using this Glampalm straightener a dream with almost no learning curve. The controls are all on the inside and very high tech, both in look and feel which made me very happy and I don’t know why. But the controls all being on the inside is great because you’re not accidentally changing your settings while you’re styling your hair. The cord is plenty long enough for wherever you need to plug it in in order to use it and comes with an include a cable management tie that is a very high-quality and does not feel like it’s going to break in a single use. Honestly, I’ve been using this straightener for about a week now, and I can say with certainty that it is nice and lightweight, it’s great for travel, it’s good for new users and experienced users alike, and if it’s in your budget and you’re in the market for an amazingly high-quality hair straightener that you will be keeping around for likely the next decade or more this is the straightener for you. I personally feel like the only thing missing is a heat resistant mat for you to put it on during at home use but as this is a professional quality item, most of the surfaces in a salon are protected and it’s not something the company would’ve needed to think about during the initial development or marketing phase. The price point on this is high I cannot argue that, but the quality of the item that you were getting is equal to that price point and if you have the budget to purchase this and the need for a hair straightener, I do not think that you will be disappointed. I rarely give out five stars for an item, but this deserves every bit of its five stars +5 more.
