This rack is perfect for holding our four kayaks. It is well made and has held up for a couple seasons (northern winter) outdoors without significant degradation or wear. I store our kayaks upright with covers, but it works just as well if you wanted to store them bottom up. We have two 10' Pelican Argos and two 10' Pelican Ultimate kayaks and all four fit perfectly on this rack. While stable, it is recommended that it is placed on a solid surface such as concrete as there is significant force on the front feet when loaded with four kayaks. Overall this rack is worth the money and a convenient way to keep your kayaks off the ground, clean, and ready for the next voyage.

Great SUV/kayak rack for the price! Easy to assemble not super heavy duty, but does the job

I'm overall happy with this product. No missing parts. One of the stick-on protector foam pieces running on top of the racks was messed up but that's not a big deal. They will all be messed up in due time but that can be remedied some other way or not used at all. Par for the course I did assemble and disassemble many times! The paper instructions are a joke and are a print out of an instruction video. My son and I tried tapping on the triangle on the paper to make the video play but it wouldn't 🤣. Don't even look at those instructions. Do keep in mind there are 2 different size bolts. I learned the hard way. I decided to put a kayak on the bottom/floor then I installed an arm to fit above that kayak and worked my way from there. That was after I messed up previously! As others have said, there is a location where you cannot put an arm due to the assembly of the main structure. I did work around that location midway up. This is a 4 kayak rack and I made it hold 5! My kayaks are nearly 50 lbs each and I believe this stand is perfect for my needs! Good luck!

The base pieces are missing pilot holes for mounting. What should I do?

It only realistically holds 3 kayaks. Kind of flimsy. For the price it’s not bad. Does what it is supposed to do. We will see how it holds up

My collection of kayaks is growing quickly. This rack solved my storage and organization issue. I am also able to hang two more kayaks on the back side using cam straps.
