Really cool
I can tell this is going to take a long time I'm a beginner and this is a bit difficult but the concept is really cool and I'm excited to finish itIf I remember I'll update my review when I started it Feb. 15 and finish April 10th its really cool but trying to follow on my tablet rather than symbols printed is not for me still a cool product

Buying again!
This is amazing! I bought this for my wedding. My fiancé and I love it. The program is easy to use, the instructions are clear cut and the canvas is sticky. I really liked that it is a stretched canvas over a frame.

I love these
I love this so much. You can go online and try as many different pictures as you want to make sure it'll turn out the best it can! Once you order one and put your number in, it will also allow you to pick different color schemes/filters to tailor it even further. It's a little difficult to follow since you need to follow a pattern on a screen or a paper instead of on the art itself, but I've gotten used to it!

A Fantastic Option for Diamond Painting!
QBRIX offers an option of creating a "photo" that is already framed and as a craft, it is more challenging (in a very good way) over a pre-printed image. Each time you complete a grid, you feel that sense of accomplishment. It is really fun to watch your image appear as you complete each section--I highly recommend this product and plan to purchase several more!!

Square drills, not round
I was really curious how this diamond painting would work since the canvas and a large amount of diamond drills in 5 colors are in the kit when it arrives. This is pretty cool, you have to send a picture to the QBRIX website and you are given the directions for the color pack you bought. I found pictures that I thought would look good in black and white actually looked better in the color version so I will be buying more. Each square on the canvas has a correlating letter that results in your image. This is definitely time consuming and I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner. It’s pretty cool to see your image appear since there is no picture on the canvas. I find I have to go in order and do each square rather than filling in all one color like I do on other diamond paintings that have the picture on it. Also, these are square drills. I prefer working with round drills because you don’t have to be as precise. The square drill looks nice but this also slows the process down for me. I’m enjoying this, but I’m nowhere close to finishing so if you’re looking for a quick craft, this isn’t the one. I have ordered other personalized diamond paintings that are round drills, the picture is on the canvas, and the drills are customized colors. I like those too. They are easier, but the QBRIX is definitely more challenging and looks great.

VERY CHALLENGING (BUT REWARDING) PROJECT
UPDATE: It's talking me a little over 16 minutes per grid "square".I ordered the black-and-white kit. The father of my children died a few months ago. I tried making a string art project of a specific picture of him reading to our eldest when she was a baby. It was a complete bust. So when I noticed this kit, I grabbed it immediately. While I knew nothing about string art (which was not the reason for the epic fail), I am very experienced with diamond art.You get a quite large canvas which is already fully prepared, meaning it is stapled onto a frame. Obviously, that will make the end result pretty. Just as obviously, this makes it far more difficult to work with. You can't just pop it on a light board. You have to work within the constraints imposed by the frame. There is a grid printed on the canvas, which makes that part at least easy to work with. The set comes with two bags each of five different colors, two of them shades of black which I cannot differentiate. The bags are quite a bit larger than standard, so of course the first thing I did was spill white beads all over my bed. After that, for the first time ever I used the spare resealable bags that tend to come with diamond art kits; the bags in this set were suitably large and there were conveniently exactly five. The beads are square. I had never worked with square beads before, and after working the very first section of the grid, I can promise you that I never will again. What a pain! With round beads, you just position them. Done and done. With square beads, after every row you have to use a tool to make sure that everything is straight and lined up. Even so, I can already tell that the beads are a hair smaller than the spaces on the grid. You would think that with square beads, every bit of canvas would be covered. But no. Some little bits are peaking through on the section that I completed. You also get directions. I used the same photo as for my ill-fated string art project. It took me some time to get this right. Note that you can play around with it forever, but you can only send yourself directions thrice. This is an unnecessary restriction. In the unlikely event you ever choose to do another project like this one, the price on this item is so low that you can easily just acquire another one – certain far more easily than trying to figure out how to put a grid and glue onto a canvas!I found that the easiest way to work the project was just to keep my laptop open in front of me. The website will show you just one grid at a time, if you so choose. This is also the first diamond art project I've ever done that made me wish that I had one of those strange diamond art carousels with multiple little trays. I have clearly labelled five trays and just have them all laid out in front of me so I can switch back and forth seamlessly.Diamond art : this project LIKE embroidery : counted cross stitch. (Diamond art is to this project like embroidery is to counted cross stitch. Hint: A LOT more work and a lot more concentration required.)This project is a challenge. Best if you have some experience under your belt before tackling it.
