We recently bought a baby chick and had her in a kennel until I realized she did not have enough space and was not able to see out very well. So, I bought this to give her more space and for it to be more open. It is the best purchase I made for our chicken. It is bigger than expected, but perfect size because she has grown and is almost ready to go outside and she still fits in it perfectly. We added about 3 bags of pine shavings and she loves it. The pine shavings keep the bottom clean from poop. I empty the shavings and I am able to clean the bottom with cleaning solution. The zipper is great and works well. Easy to get her in and out. It opens wide enough to change her food and water and to give her some more open air. Great price and will be using this to keep any more chicks we get.

I am really impressed with the UWE Small Animal Playpen. I used it to raise 6 chicks, and despite its compact size, it was surprisingly roomy. The playpen provided ample space for my chicks until they were about 8 weeks old, which is fantastic value.The design is great, and the breathable material ensures good airflow. However, I did notice that it's not entirely waterproof, and moisture can escape and accumulate at the base. To protect my floor, I added a cardboard box and some towels, which worked well.Overall, I am happy with this product. It offers good functionality at a reasonable price. If you are looking for a portable and convenient playpen for your small animals, I would definitely recommend considering this one.

It’s perfect for traveling, folds nicely into carrying pouch, plenty of air circulation from netting, ease of cleaning and held together nicely zipped. If you have furry pet who uses their claws to climb and teeth to chew the durability of the product doesn’t last but served a temporary purpose.

This works great as a chick brooder. However, if you have cats that like to harass them, consider something a little more solid. My cats have been trying to get inside of this since day 1. They claim on top and walk around and almost smash the babies. I have also had to use pipe cleaners to tie the zipper together because they have figured out how to unzip it. The chicks love it, and there is an abundance of space for them to move around and flap their wings.

In all honesty this isn’t a bad pen. The issue and probably the most important of all is its not WATERPROOF! It claims to be. Well I purchased 3 runner duck babies and placed them in this unit with water and some food. Wood shavings broader light you name it. Next morning the entire Carpet where the pen sat was SOAKED! Beware this is not WaterProof!

This made a stable and safe environment for our foster kittens during weeks 1-4. Easy to clean, very easy to use and move into different rooms if needed. Durable and very much worth the price. Easy to store, zipper held and so did little bag (the video on how to refold to store is wonderful).Functioned perfectly for what we needed.

Worked for my chicks until it didn't. They did rip through the base at 6 weeks. For the price I hadn't expected it to last long, but had hoped it would make eight weeks. I did buy liners to make cleaning easier. Would recommend using it with a tarp.

This is the perfect setup for my classroom. I have 9 chicks currently and it could certainly fit more. I love that it has a zipper so that when they are wanting to jump out I can contain them. It's easy to set up, just be cautious when you unzip the bag it comes in as it flew out of the bag immediately and startled my co-teacher. While it was funny, it did come out with force. I would definitely recommend this and would 100% buy it again.
