I bought this item for my baby chicks, and it has been perfect! The structure is sturdy and gives them a safe, comfortable space to move around. Assembly was simple and quick. I love that it keeps them secure while also giving them enough room to explore. If you're raising chicks, this is a great option to keep them happy and protected. Highly recommend it for new or experienced chicken owners!

Great alternative to the heat lamp for brooding chicks. This seems a lot safer to me than heat lamps. The chicks determine rather easily if they're too hot or too cold, and the brooder plate is very easy to adjust.

Bought this for my chicks and it works great. I really like using this more than the big light.... I always felt nervous about starting a fire. They like this and it's easy and safe.

I really like this little heater plate, I absolutely love the cone it helps keeping it clean so much easier. I absolutely love the size it's perfect for a little "hospital" if I need one also. Another thing I really liked about it was it has a soft underbelly the chicks are against. It heats up nicely I like how it's built and it's really easy to function you just plug it in and go. I definitely recommend this one. I like the safety also I don't worry like I did when I used heat lamps. I also like these plates don't use near the electricity the heat lamps do either.

This product is completely useless due to a serious manufacturing defect. The parts are not made to consistent dimensions, which makes it impossible to assemble them properly—especially when trying to connect the sides. No matter how carefully you try, they simply won’t fit together. I’ve assembled many products before and never had an issue like this. It’s incredibly disappointing to spend time and money on something that can’t even be put together. Need my money back.Avoid this product.

This is my second brooder plate. I like my other one a little better, but it is no longer available on Amazon. I don't think this plate gets as hot as my other one. It is fine for indoor use with little chicks or outdoor use with older chicks. I don't think I would put day-old chicks outside under this plate, unless it was hot outside. It does seem to have some hot spots and the exposed screws get hot. I have no issues with it turning off. I like the length of the cord.

Our newly hatched little chicks love this heat plate. They feel safe underneath it and I love That I don't have to worry about it Catching Fire. Perfect size to fit in small brooder. Does not have adjustable heat setting only one temp. Looks like a little house and is durable. Does a great job keeping the chicks warm and functions perfectly.

I feel so much safer having this brooder and not that hot weird huge light bulb blasting them in the face it's just too hot too dangerous but this brooder plate is wonderful and the chicks love it almost as much as a real mom LOLIt is easy to wipe off you know with just a paper towel. And I'm old and I can figure it out as far as putting the legs on it and adjusting it it's like a spring action thing it's real easy and it kind of clicks into position.I watched a lot of YouTube videos to learn more about raising chicks and all of them recommend this brooder.It's good quality good instructions and your chicks will thrive
