Half Oak Whiskey Barrel WITH DRAINAGE HOLES garden planter, tub, trough for plants from Buttercup Farm

Thought this tub was going to be too big, but no it’s just right.Certainly good value for money when you look at plastic pots. It was charged inside to prevent rot and a good size drainage hole as wellThe lower half I filled home made compost then topped it with new. About 50 bulbs have gone in plus some violas . Should be a good show in spring

This barrel is weathered in a good way. It looks vintage. And it really smelled of red wine when it arrived! I love it. So much cooler than a brand new one! And the price was better than the garden centres too! Great to have this heavy item delivered direct!

sturdy, have planted it up it looks nice but my other half had to drillextra drainage holes in the bottom as there was only one.

It was exactly what I wanted and expected. Because of the shape of it, the metal hoops slip down so I had to spend time with a hammer to bang them back up and put in some nails to stop the hoops slipping down again. Suspect this would be the case with any barrel. Very pleased to use it to replace my 30yo one that has finally given up.....

The Barrel that arrived looked as if it was dropped , it wasn’t round . I had to hammer it from the bottom until the top . Then I had to tape the holes up that were drilled . And leave it full of water for 4 days for the wood to expand . However now the water is not seeping through the wood slats , I’ve filled it up with soil and planted my plants in and now it looks great ‘

Good value for money looks lovely in garden good price much cheaper than garden centers good quality oak it’s very heavy but can be rolled to position instructions on how to maintain and expand wood highly recommended

To big for me waiting know for pick up from company they are a bit slow.
