Good quality, perfect gift for beginner
Tween grandson really loves exploring the instrument's sounds on this and writing his own music, sometimes to accompany movies and TV shows. Sound quality is good so adults enjoy listening. Perfect for learning music and a great creative indoor activity. Good keyboard feel. Nice size for apartment.

Highly Recommend
This piano is AMAZING and super affordable! I’ve seen ridiculous prices for keyboards like this but it was very affordable and it is very high quality. The sound is amazing and it has a LOT of features on it! I got this for my husband for Christmas because he needed a new keyboard and he is very happy with it! It also connects to all of his other equipment and works great!

Great Value
This keyboard has a great piano sound, plus a lot of other cool timbres to choose from. I'm still learning how to use it, but it's been easy to figure out so far and Yamaha provides a lot of great resources. I would recommend the 71 key option if you're really trying to learn how to play or want to play pieces with a bigger range, but I'm mostly just playing around, and I'm glad this is easy enough to transport, so this is great for me.

So simple, a kid can figure it out
Our family loves this keyboard. We were looking for something beginner friendly that wasn't too simple, but still not overcomplicated. My 5 and 6 year old have learned how to navigate it better than I can lol. The quality is great, it works like a charm. It's portable and easy to move from my room to my kids room, to the living room if needed. It's easy to play and figure out.

Very nice keyboard especially for beginners
Sounds great for this price point, actually really great I was surprised. Many voices to chose from, the piano voices are the best. There are also lots of special effects built in which are very good, it may take a beginner a while to get the hang of setting them, but fun to play round with. Make sure to go online to Yamaha's site to download the data sheet, owners manual and reference manuals, you'll need them all to learn how to use this and understand all the features and how to make them work. But the manuals are pretty easy to understand and makes it easy to learn to use this keyboard and all it's functions.

Great Purchase
For the money, this is a great keyboard. I'm not a professional, but have played the piano for over 70 years. My Baldwin is no longer available and I needed something I could play the "outside" world couldn't hear. The touch is adjustable and key reaction feels good. The keys react to my touch-if I want louder I play harder. I haven't explored all the options but seems easy to program and use. I'm glad I got the 76 key model. It isn't something you give much thought to after playing a full piano keyboard, but you'd be surprised how much of the keyboard you do use!! Also, I bought a Yamaha sustain pedal and it is GREAT. The only suggestion I have is the plugin for the headset should be in front, otherwise you are going over the keyboard or around and it has a tendency to get caught under the keyboard. If you're not using a stand, measure the height of the table (or whatever you are using) and add the height measurement of the instrument and adjust for your comfortable playing height. I bought a booster seat to accommodate for the playing comfort. Easier on my arms, wrists and shoulders. The sound is wonderful. I would recommend this product. Good for a beginner, but great for those of us who have experience and play for our own enjoyment.
