Comes in really nice heavy duty case. After you receive it, you have to bleed the air out of the pump but instructions are clear on how. Works very cleanly every time I use it and I have had no difficulties. I expect this product to last me a long time!

So glad I didn't waste my money on Harbor Freight junk. Never trust anything with moving parts at HF. This dog is a chunk. Better case than expected but will probably suffer if used professionally. Have already used it a lot to push out some bumper damage and sheet metal. Managed to jam it open when it slipped off a greasy frame member and stressed it till it creaked pushing bumper support and bumper diagonally. Good news is I got three grand for my $800 dollar truck from the lizards at the insurance company and using this got the truck back on the road (salvage title). Now if I can just get a couple more drunks to rear end me, I might be able to afford a decent truck. Get the 10-ton if you can afford it-sooner or later you'll need the extra strength version and you can do a lot of non-automotive stuff with it. Who says the Chinese can't make good tools-you just have to hold their little feet to the fire till they get the message.

Works as advertised
The tool arrived ahead of the estimated time. Right out of the box expect to bleed the air out of the pump. The instructions tell you how. After the bleeding it took about 2 oz. of hydraulic oil to top off the unit. After that all the parts worked fine. The case is plastic but has molded indents that hold all the parts in place. This is my second porta-power and the other one held up fine. I expect this one to do the same.

Not the Quality that I once admired. Portion of the set failed.
Bought this set to replace 20 yr old Banner set when ram started to leak. From the start had to bleed ram just so it would work. Simple fix just annoying. Second wedge spreader leaked after two uses. Used wedge spreader from Banner set to complete repairs. So, it ram works well, wedge did not.

(Auto Shop owner)1 month and 5 vehicles saved from the junk yard! CHECK OTHER PRICES!!! (you cant even come close) Dont even look.Yes, China however we cannot afford the $1200 snap on unit (that may or may not be China or even same OEM unit)
