If you have the same problem I did, with my remote cover becoming sticky and rotting, this is the perfect fit. Very, very easy to install and even comes with a blank key inserted. I literally replaced the inside and had the remote working in less than a minute. If this isn’t a 100% GMC accessory it sure is a perfect copy! The only difference between this replacement, as far as I can see, is the replacement does not have the GMC logo on the back. Honestly, I could care leass and for $12.00 it’s Well worth the small investment!!

This was very easy to use, just remove your chip (mother board) from your old key fob and slide it into the new one, that simple. I used my original straight key that slides in to the end of the new key fob instead of having the new one cut to fit, it was a whole lot easier and faster, your old end piece should fit right in to the new fob with no issues
