A Dining Experience
This electric table grill is good for gatherings with family and friends. The cast aluminium non stick griddle top plate heats up quickly and evenly, making it easy to cook a variety of foods. You can also control the heat with a simple temperature dial knob on the front. Also the griddle top is reversible, so you can use the flat plate side to cook steaks, burgers for the perfect sear.I like that it comes with eight small size non-stick pans underneath, which are great for melting cheese and cooking small ingredients like vegetables and meats. As there are four to each side, both sides of the table can access them easily. It has been easy to clean afterwards too, in hot soapy water.I would highly recommend.

Great Fun
This is a recently interesting grill, the likes of which I've only seen in specifically themed restaurants, etc. It's basically a raised grill where there's a top hot-plate which rests above the heating element, and space underneath for 8 smaller sized square pans which you can use for eggs, or grilling cheese, etc.Overall, it's a great set; very versatile with lots of options. It's also quite big, so probably something you'll only want to pull out at larger gatherings.Quality-wise it's not the best, but given this is around £130, I think it's probably fair.

Check it is stable before use. Had to put 3 of their spatulas under a foot to stop mine tipping.
The media could not be loaded. This looked to be undamaged on arrival yet when placed on the table has a large wobble. See video. Fir something that is going to have use on a dinner table by 8 different people potentially with light things that are going to be frequently moved about and on and off clearly this is a massive no no.I had to use something under a foot which as I had just 2 guests I was able to use some spatulas it came with. I found I needed 3 of them to get it to stop tipping each time was used. This means there is a serious buckle in the body as all the feet are present on the base. This means they are not checked for stability. This grill gets very hot. This could even be a safety issue were someone to not realise it was going to move in use.The grill on e stabilised worked fine but I have to just give it 2 stars because this stability issue is an obvious and missed by them serious flaw.

Definitely more for people who host people
I selected this as I initially thought it was just a sort of updated George Foreman grilling type thing, but once I got it open and set up I realised it was aimed more at people who were maybe hosting a dinner party and having regular hot food going. However, we tested it out with a family breakfast, even got the mother around to show off, and I was immediately sold.We all sat at the table, having a nice chat, whilst the food was cooking nicely in front of us... we added more when needed, each removed something when it had got to the perfect level of crispness for them, and it was actually a much more civilised and easier breakfast preparation than had 1 person been cooking it in the kitchen away from the rest of the group.I'm not actually sure how many times we'll use it - we really only have people around for meals on birthdays and other special occasions, but it definitely proved its worth and I, personally, would like to see it used more regular than the poor sandwich toaster that sits alone in the cupboard. The build quality seems fine, not super premium, but doesn't look like a cheap product. As far as I could see, the grill heated up nice and evenly, and the cheese we were melting in the underneath sections all melted very nicely.Nothing bad to report about the experience at all.

Huge
For serious raclette lovers. I would say this definitely isn’t for casual use as you can get raclette kits that are way way smaller, this is for bigger dinner events etc. You get 8 spatulas and 8 little pans, and each pan is slanted on the edge so cheese slides off easily.Beware the handles of the pans are not heat proof so put them in correctly. There is only one heat source which is under the griddle pan so it is far off any table etc. The size of this is big. I’ve included a picture of the box next to a suitcase so you can see the full scale. Definitely not something that fits easily in my small UK kitchen but if you have a utility room, attic or garage it will store there easily. You turn the heat on high first and then adjust later to the temperature you want. The instructions say to never use non stick cooking oil on this. The instructions are really well detailed and have several recipe ideas that are easy to follow. This is great if there are different diets/personal tastes within family or dinner party as you can cook your own and customise as you see fit. This is great if you’re a big family or if you’re entertainers, as it allows you to serve all the food hot and not have one cook standing alone in the kitchen. You all get to participate. It is interactive and fun - but for the price and the size make sure it isn’t just a novelty purchase but something you will actually use.For me the size is a double edged sword, something you can’t really avoid but also something that will definitely hinder regular use. The size is what makes it so useful for parties and big family dinners etc. The versatility of the things you can cook helps this fact. Because of this I am not deducting any stars in my rating because of the size (the main negative for me) and the way it isn’t the easiest to store, cause it’s not a fault of the product. The thing that has deducted a star from me is the fact that the pans are quite fragile, as you may be able to tell from the photo included the bottom pan has a scratch on it straight out of the box. This makes me worried it’ll scratch when being put away and compromise the coating.I have had other products similar to this in my lifetime where the heating element was not sufficiently far away from the table surface so I take extra precaution anyway, but this is a decent distance so shouldn’t cause issues.
